I was blown with this property. I didn't expect too much because I had to book this just cuz I couldn't find another cheaper place in town. The receptionist was soo kind and friendly — someone who visited Malaysia before! When I arrived, I was able to lock my bag using a wire and put into a locker, and everything digitally done via LINE app. I thought it was just a container dorm, but it felt like a real building up there. Eventhough it was a shared space, they provide you everything you need. It was amazing for a hostel! I had an upper capsule in mixed dorm, they put me as close to the female side (appreciate it). They had a locker, and changing rooms so you can change comfortably. They had a private female bathroom and toilets stalls for just female use. The rest mix. The setup was so considerate. So I didn't feel uncomfortable too much. They had eating space and a place to cook as well. I loved renting the bicycle to the aquarium and meoto-iwa. It was also not too far from the train station, lawson, and an izakaya next door. Super clean and neat places btw

Misato and Timomi were incredibly helpful and helped create a very wholesome atmosphere. They were always around for any enquiries. Overall the guest house was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Mitama House 01 is really special. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the refined design and high-quality materials to the impeccable cleanliness and exceptional comfort. Everything feels fresh, new, and sparkling clean, and the house has absolutely everything you could need. It offers the rare pleasure of experiencing the calm, understated elegance of living in a beautiful Japanese home, with all the comforts and conveniences you could wish for. The hospitality is just as exceptional as the house itself. Toshi was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, and he and his kind parents went out of their way to accommodate a special request, doing so quickly and with such generosity and care. That level of thoughtfulness truly made our stay even more memorable. The location is excellent for sightseeing. The house is just off the main road, yet tucked away along charming, quiet, winding little streets that feel like a real Japanese neighborhood. It offers a lovely sense of peace and authenticity while remaining wonderfully convenient, with a convenience store, excellent dining options, and all the main sites just a short drive away. My only regret is having booked just three nights! I would happily have stayed for a month. Mitama House 01 is the kind of place that makes you wish you could linger, slow down, and simply enjoy being there. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, authenticity, and genuinely thoughtful Japanese hospitality. I would return in a heartbeat!

If you have any interest at all in Touhou this is a wonderful opportunity to stay in a place where a true fan has truly applied their craft! I was amazed at what I found at every turn, truly full of character! It is also just a clean and nice place to stay, easy and accommodating.

The house was new, well fitted out, multiple heat pumps and aircon units, and worked really, really well. Our hosts were beyond amazing, soooo hospitable and generous! They were great ferries and tour guides as well as hosts, and their kindness was boundless.

Having frequented some of the most prestigious luxury hotels worldwide, I found this establishment to be peerless in its understated elegance. The architectural dialogue between the modern design and the original 1911 merchant storehouse (Kura) is nothing short of masterly. In Room 302—a private villa once used by a footwear merchant—the loft bedroom is nestled within the ancient walls. To look up from the open-ceiling living area and see the original beams that have carried the weight of a century is truly moving. The hospitality was equally refined; the staff welcomed us with a grace that felt both professional and deeply personal, sharing the soul of Kawasaki’s history as they guided us to our quarters.

I love everything about this guesthouse. The owner put great thoughts and efforts into renovating the traditional house. The place is clean, spacious with a lot of places for guests to interact, read books, and enjoy slow travel in Ise. Interior was really cute, and the staff was absolutely helpful!

Great location only 10 min walk from Geku of ISe shine. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the onsen, it has both hot and cold baths, so it was very good. VERY clean, and the price per night is amazingly low.

Very close (~3 minute walk) from Kintetsu Ise Station. Very convenient area. The hostel room is impeccably clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The powder room is well furnished. Delicious breakfast! And the retro American diner/bar downstairs is pretty cool. I would love to stay here when I visit the area again!

It feels like staying in a tree house, the smell of pine and calm atmosphere is second to none. Staffs and owner are very friendly. Good location, cafeteria and restaurants are all nearby, also very close to the outer palace.

Hinode Ryokan is an old-fashioned family-run inn just a short walk away from Iseshi train station and Ise Jingu Outer Sanctuary. The staff is kind and helpful, the facilities are clean, and the traditional Japanese breakfast is very filling. I’ve used this accommodation as a base for visiting the Ise Jingu, Meoto Iwa, and Matsusaka by public transport, and found it very convenient.
