Accommodation in Otaru

Great location ever, right at the opposite of JR Otaru station. Room layout is good, separated sink and shower/toilet room. Clean and well organized room layout. Super comfy bed. Onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor onsen with brand new hari dryer. Free popsicle and icecrem provdied after onsen. Also have free flow ramen from 21:30 - 23:00. Good breakfast with DIY kaisen don, famous hokkaido menu and good bakery. Staffs are warm welcome and supportive. With new kiosk check in, you can easily check in / check out.

Very spacious room, comfortable bed, big shower, access to clean and nice public bath, extremely helpful receptionists who managed easily our non-standard trip - thank you!!! I forgot, there was also large variety for breakfast - from local cousin to international choices. The breakfast was very smartly scheduled to avoid queues!

The stay is amazing! The hotel is located in a beautiful western-style house and the decoration is classy. Our room come with seaview over the lovely neighborhood. The hotel staffs are super friendly. We were able to leave our luggage before we check in because we arrived earlier than the check in time. The neighborhood is quiet but also very close to the main street. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Otaru.

The tranquility and privacy was just what I was looking for. The occasional train going by didn’t bother at all. An excellent breakfast. Bathing experience was glorious.

The rooms are spacious, equipped with jaccuzis and every single item one needs for a comfortable stay is there. The hotel has great ocean views from the rooms and beautiful mountain views from the corridor hall. Every staff I encountered were very polite and professions (thank you to all of them). Everything was clean and the breakfast was very delicious & served directly to your room. I hope to stay here again sometime.

The facilities were excellent, with an impressive layout and very well maintained overall structure, as well an interesting approach to the all-inclusive resort style of package. The reading room was a thoughtful touch, and although I did not see it mentioned before, there is an additional seating area beside the cafe/bar. This area appears to be almost exactly centrally located in the resort and has floor-to-ceiling windows on all three sides opposite which provides an excellent view of the interior garden. The rotary phone was a little surprising, but I grew to like it quite a bit. And of course the guest-room onsen style baths were dangerously good - I would have spent most of my days in there if I could have. Maybe next time.

Winkel Village is the perfect homestay for a peaceful and cozy getaway! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

Really nice place to stay. The owner picked us up from the station, and also drove us into town and brought us back in the evening. The house was comfortable and clean, and heaters in the living room and bedroom kept us warm. Highly recommend!
