I really like the owner. She was really very helpful and helped me for my trip so much. The place itself was also nice and clean. She also hasva small shop selling some sweet bun. If you try it bewsre the birds around shingu who stole half of mine. 🙂

I came late through the check in time because I missed the train and the host was understanding with me. The room was big, could be for four people, but I was alone and had all the amenities and was comfy. Would recommend if you plan to stay in Shingu.

Very clean and fairly new/well maintained accomodation. I have been to several shared bath accomodations and some have the weirdest setup that don't make sense. This place just does it. Bed is comfy and pillow has just the right height. There's proper hangers in the shower room, bins at the right spots, everything just makes sense so you'll be feeling like staying in a home instead of a hostel. Friendly and very helpful staffs to ease you through your stay and travel around the area.

I was very fortunate to be able to reserve this room. As the name suggests, it is a converted warehouse, but the space inside is very spacious and comfortable, and up to four people should be able to relax. The owner of the house was very warm, and even made a special trip to pick us up at the station, and provided information including restaurants, attractions, etc., which was very helpful for our trip.

The area is a good gateway to important Kumano Kodo spots. Moss House is a short walk from Miwasaki train station. The apartment has everything you need, the kitchen is well-equipped. It is clean and practical. There is space to park your car. But most importantly, Fumi-san who runs Moss House is a gracious and hospitable host. Her and her husband have been incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Very nice base for a short stay (had whole house to ourselves so relaxed fully). Traditional Japanese home with associated facilities. Care that you identify the property (one side of road, while they also have a sign on the other indicating an available parking area).

This was an amazing stay. Super friendly staff. We arrived way too early, however could leave our bags and pre-checkin, so we could explore town and when it was time directly get into the room. We could wven borrow an umbrella since it was raining.

The shop owners are an elderly couple who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Staying here feels just like being at home. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The husband even told us to feel free to drink as much wine as we like. The kitchen is fully equipped. This is a warm and cozy place where you'd want to stay forever.

New guesthouse and everything is new. Host has created a good and relatively comfy place to stay and hang and mingle. Bedrooms are clean and very spacious. Host is friendly and wish her well and good running of her guesthouse. There's a great sports apparel shop and an award winning bento set supermarket nearby. House slippers are provided as well as basic toiletry, kitchenette except toothbrush. Big balcony to dry clothes out but no provision of washing machine.

The service of the hotel is excellent. Best of the best. Warm-welcomed. There are some special points I must mention about. First, it treats me so well that they help me to book a restaurant as it is public holidays in Japan during the day I have stayed. Second, they drive me to the restaurant where I would have a decent dinner. Besides, they are patience that guide me to the bus stop by themselves. Thank you so much! ありがとございます！
