Lovely garden comfortable room, staff very helpful. They booked us on a trip to Calakmul at short notice from a local guide, he gave an excellent tour incorporating the bat cave. Becon ruins are near by. Breakfast was excellent.

Location is very good to visit Calakmul and the place is very quite and peaceful. Staff was very helpful, room was clean, had a fridge and a nice balcony.

This was an amazing place, basically a sort of jungle lodge located on the edge of a town and very close to the main highway that runs across the southern Yucatan. There were two main buildings (possibly with a third under construction) of two floors each with separate units on each floor. Inside was a large room with comfortable bed, clean en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a fridge; absolutely everything one could need for a great stay. There is a small veranda outside where I could sit with my morning coffee or a beer in the evening and they have 4 or 5 cats that have the run of the place and enjoy lying in the sun on this veranda. They have their own car park as well, which is very important as I expect most people staying here will come by car. There is not a great deal to do in the town of Xpujil itself, but it is an ideal location for visiting all of the archaeological sites of the southern Yucatan as long as you have your own car.

Surrounded by a vast jungle, Casa Ka’an is an eco-friendly property that functions with solar panels, solar water heaters and biodigestors for waste water treatment.

A really beautiful place in the forest, with large well appointed rooms (stocked fridge, wines, huge beds, good Wi-Fi, chairs and table etc) and private parking outside each Casa. The food is excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Loved the hummingbird feeders and the gentle, friendly dogs. The staff were great.

Delightful pink hotel! We arrived late and the carpark attendant was very helpful in advising where to find food at that time. Room was clean and beds were very comfy didn’t get to use the pool. Ample and secure parking! We had a very short stay as we left early to get to Calakmul. Good location for this adventure!
