We stayed at The Quetzal for a night on our way to Holbox. Monica was a wonderful host. She was always responsive and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner when we arrived, helped us arrange a taxi to the Holbox ferry the next day, and confirmed our return trip a few days later. It rained a little bit while we were there, and we were headed out early the next morning, so we didn't get a chance to use the pool, but we had a lovely breakfast by it before we had to leave. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in downtown Cancun!

Our hosts, Sandra and Andrea gave us excellent service. They are very caring and friendly and they made us feel "at home." My friend and I stayed for 6 nights and I can highly recommend Bed and Breakfast Pecari, for longer stays. The place is homely and clean and it is situated close to public transport, restaurants, a supermarket and a shopping centre. We took the bus or an Uber to the beach. Sandra replied quickly, to any questions I had. Andrea also offered to do some washing for me and my friend! I am very happy with my stay!

Great apartment, very well situated (close to the bus station, and has everything you need for a short stay! Very comfortable. Host was excellent and kind, brought us blankets when it got colder, recommended local restaurants and communicated very well with us.

We were so lucky to stay here on our first night! We ran into some trouble with our credit cards and ended up with no money to begin our trip with. Maru was incredibly kind and even lent us money to buy dinner until we managed to sort things out. In the morning, she provided us with some fresh fruit :) The neighbourhood felt very safe (the place is part of a gated community) and our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
