Spacious comfortable and clean rooms, the property is in a great location surrounded by nature but very close to the town. The hosts were so friendly helpful and attentive made our stay much better just with their great service.

We loved how we felt we were staying in the national park. Amazing birds visiting the area with a Kaka actually tapping on our sliding glass door every morning! Place was small but cozy. We loved having our own car while visiting. We didn’t quite realize that the car was included 24/7 during our stay.

Unique experience all around & all together-being one with nature-the design of the glass cabin. Perfect temperature, layout, design, bedding. WE LOVED IT! No Kiwi SEEN by the cabin area but a walk down the main road resulted in a sighting! The STARS above you & it’s no dream.

The room was comfortable and we had full use of a wonderful sitting room. Both rooms had a great view over Halfmoon Bay. Our hostess, Helen, looked after us superbly, making suggestions about activities and chauffeuring us when walking was less feasible. Breakfast was very tasty and Helen even made us omelettes.

The house is fully equipped with essential tools and kitchenwares. Of course, the car is the biggest highlight!!! It gave us so much convenience to tour around the island. Definitely a highly recommended place. The owner even purposely headed down to the unit to clean up for us despite the shortage of cleaner during new year period. Thanks a lot!!

The setting is amazing The host's are very helpful and friendly The cabin was beautiful. The birds were all around us. The old large native trees are special The island is a revolution and we want to come back.
