Accommodation in Funchal

Great location. Affordable rate. Friendly staff.

I arranged this booking for my parents, and they had a fantastic experience at the hotel! They stayed in a deluxe room during the New Year and were absolutely impressed. The quality and variety of the food exceeded their expectations—both the dinner and the service were exceptional. The dishes were beautifully prepared, and the staff was truly amazing. The New Year’s animation program was a delightful touch, and they received special treatment, including a beautifully arranged table, which made the evening even more memorable. They couldn’t find a single thing that went wrong during their stay and are already excited to return next year. Thank you for making their stay so wonderful!

The location, the staff was very professional and friendly. The breakfast and dinner was great and varied.

Great value for money. Great breakfast and great entertainment in the evenings

Excellent location, friendly staff. Stunning view to the ocean and the Funchal hills. Comfortable and pretty room. Events in the Hotel teras every evening, little pool and jacuzzi included. Absolutely would stay here again.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful! Their response to my questions before and during my stay were always quick and helpful. Martin and two ladies at the front desk provided me many good sightseeing suggestions. On my husband"s birthday a fresh chocolate cake was delivered to the room. Breakfast buffet is really good. The day after Christmas we had the delicious buffet dinner with lamb chop and duck entrees. I wish we could have stayed longer to view the new year Eve famous fireworks.

Excellent room with ocean view and friendly staff

The location is great. First line with direct access to the ocean. The breakfast isn’t boring. The room is big with a ocean view

3 night stay. Really comfortable bed. Lovely balcony with pool (and sea access) and sea view. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Hotel is a little dated but this is outweighed be its spaciousness and cleaniess. .Definitely recommend.

Great service and breakfast area

Everything Excellent location Cleanliness great Amazing views , from either side Facilities excellent and well maintained Great breakfast

Great staff beautiful view good food good pool and clean

Great location right in the city centre. Very convenient if you want to cook your own meals, with a well-equipped kitchen available. If you’re not looking for anything fancy and want to stay central, this place is perfect. Great value for money.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, with an absolutely beautiful view from our room on the 15th floor. The staff were friendly, prices reasonable and property clean. Breakfast has a huge selection and variety of options. The staff were helpful and friendly - particularly the house keeping staff and the lady that runs the spa.

We could not have enjoyed it any better, all around lovely!

Convince to attractions. Comfortable beds and pillows. An outstanding host. Andre went above and beyond to look after us. He helped plan our itinerary each day. He was full of information of where to go and what to see. Always on hand for a cup of coffee or a beer. From fulling hot water bottles, needed for aches and pains, and ordering our unusual needs, via Uber eats. He went over and above to make our trip so enjoyable. Besides all this, he has the most wicked sense of humour. I don't think our trip to Madeira would have been so great, if it wasn't for Andre.

Location is perfect, support from host overall good, facility works well.

Everything was great! The staff was very nice with us and the best thing was that for the days that we woke up early the breakfast was ready even in 4:00 a.m Totally recomanded!

I loved the location just opposite the cathedral, spacious, clean, comfortable. Can have a morning coffee or evening wine on the balcony watching the cathedral bell tower ring. And it gets better, daily cleaning service. This is so much better than a hotel room. And of course the friendly staff helping me whenever I needed. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place special in Funchal.

The apartments are within the city center, close to pubs full of ponchas and local shops. Taxis and buses are close as well; the only disadvantage I can think of is that it has many stairs. The owner was also replying fast to messages. Highly recommend.

Cleaner was great, very friendly. Caretaker, very helpful and great with communication. Location pefect however, if you like a good nights sleep this isnt, as other guests coming and going can be quite noisy.

The location is great. It is close to all kind of shops, restaurants, bars and also to the shore. Few min walk from Funchal marina. The neighbours is quite for being well located. The studio is two floors and the upper floor has a little balcony with sea view. The studio has three single beds, thus it could be very convenient for a small group or family. The lower floor has a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, water boiler, and a laundry machine.
