Accommodation in Funchal

I chose this hotel for my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect - from the room we got to the welcoming staff who made the birthday celebration even more memorable. A beautiful location with a great view, good service and delicious food, everything was more than perfect!

The room was big, always really clean and the ocean view was very nice. The breakfast was tasty with a lot to choose from.

The staff are more than accomodating, and the price is pretty fair considering the size of room and the number and quality of in-house offers (pool, breakfast, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment)

The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location—right in the center, with everything within easy walking distance. It’s very cozy, very clean, and well maintained, and the staff are friendly. The only minor drawbacks were that the mattress is a bit firm, and the breakfast selection isn’t very large.

We had quite a lot of luggage, but the hotel kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the official time. The view of the city and the square in front of Funchal’s cathedral was absolutely wonderful! The reception staff were attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was simple yet tasty, included in the price, and had a lovely atmosphere. The hotel team was always ready to help – for example, if you need a kettle, you can just ask at the reception. I would happily stay a few more nights in this hotel, enjoying its atmospheric rooms with beautiful views of the narrow streets of old Funchal.

The apartment is centrally located in Funchal, in a flat area, which makes it very convenient—there is no need to go up or down hills even for simple errands like grocery shopping. We stayed as a group of four adults and two children, and the apartment offered ample space to comfortably accommodate everyone. The availability of two bathrooms with showers was especially convenient. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and we were warmly welcomed with a small treat from the host. There are two balconies: one facing the main street with plenty of sunlight, and another overlooking the backyard, providing a pleasant shaded retreat. The dining table comfortably seats six people, and the kitchen is very well equipped, offering everything needed to prepare even more elaborate meals.

Everything was great! A great location, price, simple rooms but you get everything you need there. So many restaurants and bars around. Suggested parking was great too.

Superb location and excellent host.

Cleaner was great, very friendly. Caretaker, very helpful and great with communication. Location pefect however, if you like a good nights sleep this isnt, as other guests coming and going can be quite noisy.

The location is great. It is close to all kind of shops, restaurants, bars and also to the shore. Few min walk from Funchal marina. The neighbours is quite for being well located. The studio is two floors and the upper floor has a little balcony with sea view. The studio has three single beds, thus it could be very convenient for a small group or family. The lower floor has a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, water boiler, and a laundry machine.
