Accommodation in Valença

I had a great 2-day stay in Alvorada Medieval, and the greatest start for my camino. The people were so kind. The garden and the pool were perfect. I enjoyed the breakfast so much too. Thanks for everything!

Convenient location for the Camino and right near the old fort, which is very cool to explore. Rooms are a good size and well-appointed.

The best view in town...or at least from the outskirts looking towards town. Comfortable beds, well-equiped bathroom. On site parking with shade. Pleasant gardens. Easy riverside path to walk into town 20 mins approx.

Our stay was made made enjoyable by the staff who were excellent,,Friendly and ever caring. They took care of us like family always making sure we had what we needed.

Great stay! I didnt meet the staff in person, since it came out of season, but the lady contacted me on whatsapp and gave me all the necessary information with details and photos. Everything matched perfectly. The location was great and the facilities very clean and efficient. And Valença is really a picturesque little town with friendly people.

The hosts were always so willing to please, going out of their way to help us out at every turn.

I can't believe this hotel has a one star sign outside it, it deserves much more . It's in a great location , staff are super friendly , It was very clean and rooms were nice mine even had a bath. And a very reasonable price too . If you are walking the Camino I would definitely recommend treating yourself to a night here

This is pure bliss. The most beutiful house we got to stay in of our camino and the host was genuinely friendly. The kitchen was stacked so you could buy bears and water etc for very little. This place could also be a very luxurious hotel, so to stay here for the price of an albuerge is amazing.

Lovely hotel. Very welcoming staff. Breakfast lovely. Room perfect, clean and tidy. Plenty of parking.

Loved the room and the view. Reckon we got the best room and view in the place! The wonderful L at the front desk was so so helpful with helping us deal with some admin.

The property was absolutely perfect for our needs. We arrived by car with our touring bikes and needed a place with parking, close to the train station. We were able to sort out our bikes and luggage the night before we caught the train south.

This is a place that ticks all the boxes. Very clean, comfortable, stylish, has all you may need for cooking. The host was great and offered complimentary drinks, pastries, and fruits.

André is a very dedicated host—extremely thoughtful, welcoming, and respectful. The location is perfect as a starting point for the Camino de Santiago. Plus, the surrounding restaurants are fantastic.
