The host was really friendly and helpful. The house is a beautiful, grand, old building with high ceilings, gorgeous interior and huge garden. The bedroom was enormous with comfortable bed, and lovely, traditional windows. Whilst the ensuite is behind a screen in the same room (not my personal favourite), the fittings are nice and shower was great. Breakfast was delicious with cooked to order eggs and bacon, a lovely selection of breads, cakes, jams (including 'homemade'), pastries, fresh oj, endless coffee, etc. Delicious! The area is very quiet, it's just off the canal/cycle route (there were touring cyclists staying too) and there's a small selection of bars and eateries. Pelt has a good selection of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.
