We had expected it to be on the other side of the river, but taking the ferry was not much of an inconvenience as we never had to wait very long and the ferry crossed quickly.

A fabulous place to stay. The hosts Kevin and Frank were just great - helpful, accomodating, and good company. It's the sort of place where you end up on first name terms with most of the other people staying there! We had one of the 'motel' rooms - recently rennovated, really well done. Breakfast was included and was excellent - continental buffet style, lots of local produce. And you're only a 15 min drive away from the entrance to the national park - which is just stunning.

Well mainted property by the hill with river view. They gave recommendations on how to enjoy your stay in the area. Parking lot on property. Guaranteed good night sleep.
