We chose the property purely based on its location between Saquenay and Quebec and time of day we needed to leave the former and arrive at the latter. We arrived tired and hungry at 7pm after a long day of kayaking in Saguenay and the proprietor's answer to our request for dinner suggestions (go to the grocery store for a baguette, some paté, and a bottle of wine and eat it on the balcony) was perfect. We enjoyed the proprietor's sense of humor and chit-chat over breakfast in the morning. He kindly also let us spread out our wet camping gear on the fence and lawn to drive so that we could properly repack it before continuing our journey into Quebec where wouldn't need it for several days.

Located in a fantastic area, it offers a perfect blend of charm and convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was just right. I also appreciated the well-equipped and aesthetically pleasing gym — a great bonus!
