Hotel Moselauen was newly opened in spring 2018. Each room is fitted with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, guest rooms at the accommodation have a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a seating area. The hotel was so welcoming when we arrived and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was for a King! Excellent variety and choice. The location of the hotel was so convenient for visiting the Christmas Market as it was a short walk across the bridge.

It is just a 10-minute walk along the Moselle promenade from the historic old town centre of Cochem. Lovely hotel away from all of the noise in city center but convenient bus stop across the street. We took the train from Koblenz and caught the bus to the Sehl stop. Bus fare was 2.30 euros. Hotel is located on the Mosel with lovely views and a grocery store next door. Breakfast was very good, full pots of coffee on our table for those of us accustomed to Americano coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was exceptionally clean and the laundry detergent packets were appreciated very much. We loved the walk down the hill, past the chairlift, to the town.

The room was recently renovated, and we’re glad that they kept a German touch ;) The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, fresh and there was enough choice. I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

A warm greeting and introduction to our room, and a secure room for our bike storage was the start of our pleasant experience here. The efficient A/C was a welcome relief after a day on our bikes. The suite was very clean and modern, with everything provided, from spare toothbrush/paste, hair dryer, cream for coffee and tea selection, electric rolladens, and even a little chocolate on the pillow. After a peaceful sleep, breakfast the following morning was beautifully presented with plates of meat and cheese and fresh warm bread. In addition, there was a menu of extra items you could order for a warm breakfast. We really felt pampered during our stay!
