Quiet with its own beer garden you could relax under trees. Well modified rooms for a hotel. Good size room and bathroom, fan provided. Staff were helpful and had available tram tickets that assisted getting into town. Breakfast yum.

Even though there was a wedding party, there wasn't any noise in our room at all. The breakfast on the courtyard was amazing, and it's very close to the lake. It's an ideal place to relax.

This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. It offers free WiFi. Firstly, we were happy to be staying in a family-run hotel and to be able to support a family business. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, giving us tips for what to do and where to go and even for restaurants in the area as we were there during Christmas and the selection was very limited. We were also kept up to date about the weather and various other conditions in the general area. The breakfast was amazing, including the selection of the family's homemade jams. There were so many that we couldn't try them all! Fresh bread, loads of cold cuts and eggs, a huge variety of cereals, and fresh fruit.
