The location is on the end of dirty road, so noise (except frogs and other animals). Everybody was very nice and helpful and tried to speak some english or using translator. Food was simple but delicious and the wine was amazing, they were also offering room service. You can use the bathtub in the room, which was very cool relax after hiking. Great romantic qetaway for a couple!

Hotel Casa de Caldelas’s charming rooms have exposed stone walls, high ceilings and hardwood floors. Each room offers free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and a kettle, while bathrooms include a hairdryer. The hotel is more like a boutique hotel. All details are well taken care of. We were given an ample attic room, that was very comfortable, with all amenities well working. The room was crystal clear, breakfast is served in the bar nearby, and is quite good and fulfilling (with excellent home made bica). Easy parking around. There's a wonderful common area with sofa and armchairs at first floor, and paintings hanging from the walls are so artistic, we loved every moment of our stay. The staff is extremely welcoming, little English spoken though. Would recommend this hotel hands down.

The listed Benedictine Monastery dates back to the 10th century and in true Parador fashion has been beautifully transformed into a chic and unique luxury hotel. Admire historic features such as stone archways, carved window frames, and the monastery's 3 original Baroque, Romanesque and Renaissance cloisters. The history of the monastery was amazing. Restaurant and bar facilities were very good and food was delicious. Front Desk staff very helpful in all regards.

The holiday home offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Incredible cabin with the most spectacular views anywhere! Cabin was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. Great communication with the host. Bed, linens and towels soft and cozy. Easy parking. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Our favorite stay during our week long vacation! Will be back some day!
