The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

The apartment was spacious for a group of four adults. It is located right in the centre of Clifden, close to pubs, shops and a supermarket, yet it was very quiet. The view of the river from the lounge window was superb. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities within the apartment allowed us to cater well for ourselves ( washing machine, dryer, kitchen). The decor was modern and appealing. Overall, it was an excellent place that I would return to.

It is very short walk to the town centre where you access most of service, shop, buses, restaurants and pubs in town. It is even more shorter distance to walk to the two superstore in town so it will be very convenient if you planning to cook for yourself. The owner Lorna is on site and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrive and take the extra steps to come out and greet us when we come back at night. The place are very well organized and arranged. You can see from all of the details for example flowers inside the room that Lorna is very passionate and attentively with this jobs. Plus you get the whole floor by yourself and it is very comfortable and relaxing inside the room. We really enjoyed the stay here and it is probably the most comfortable places we stay at so far.

My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!
