The communal kitchen with tea coffee options, cereals and Sonila's delicious home made cake is a great idea, and we were able to leave our bags after check out, then grab a coffee before heading to the airport. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again if we come back to Bergamo. There is a bus stop outside to take you up to the Citta Alta, and "lower" Bergamo's attractions are a short walk away.
