Ancona Cathedral is 1 km away. great location with fantastic view of the port, can spend hours watching the ferries dock & undock, load & unload. very clean and modern rooms, excellent breakfast. exceptionally friendly staff. we also had dinner at the restaurant, which despite pretty modern menu - tasted great. ps. takes less than 5 min with a car to reach the ferry check-in terminal.

Castello Di Monterado once belonged to the Duke of Urbino. Outside, you will find a summer swimming pool. Absolutely amazing place to stay. Wonderful attentive staff, brilliant breakfast with so many options both cooked and buffet style, enjoyed on a beautiful balcony and walkway with fantastic views. Amazing restaurant for dinner on site, lovely courtyard for evening drinks. Our room was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean and quiet. The grounds are wonderful with a lovely pool and areas to walk our dog, very dog friendly all around. Incredibly secure parking within the grounds. Honestly can't fault anything and we will be back. Garage parking is available on request. Beautiful, exceedingly clean and up to date hotel, w quiet and respectful clients. I stayed 4 nights in April ‘24 as a solo, 74 year old woman. All the staff were exceptional and breakfast buffet was great. Exceedingly safe area with everyone out walking all the time. I would definitely return here. Grazie a tutti al Charlie!

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
