Cecilia is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The swimming pool is huge and well maintenance. It’s only 2 accommodations so you have it for yourself most of the time :) During our week there, Cecilia was full of lovely touches and attentions, always there if needed, but still very discret. 2mn by car or 10mn by feet is also a little supermarket with quality fresh products. Very relaxing, very quiet and everything you need place. I highly recommend.

Wow what a great place to stay in beautiful Ancona. The rooms were fantastic, we had a great sea view. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole holiday. Easy walk to town and closed to the ferry terminals. The staff were polite and helpful.

Actually it was not a villa, but an apartment. We were lucky, as everyone was very quiet around us, and we just had a great time there. I am sure it is always quiet, as the owner seems to take the guest’s comfort very seriously. The scenic view and the pool makes it a perfect place to stay. The surrounding is great too: not too many tourist, but many restaurants and pasticcerias helps you to enjoy your holiday at a very high level.

Extremely friendly and helpful host was waiting for us on arrival. He arranged ice and cold white wines to be delivered to us that evening as we didn't have time to shop. It was wonderful to arrive at holiday accommodation without complex pin/codes, which has proved disastrous on this trip. Old fashioned courtesy and human hosts is becoming a thing of tge past and after the experience in Franco's glorious, comfy and homely (spacious) apartments, we will in future, stick to this style of property when choosing holiday accommodation.

Difficult to find something I didn’t like!
The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable and in a super central location. Tastefully decorated, and with very useful washing machine and all practical amenities- even a great hairdryer!
The owner is super friendly and was extremely helpful!

The apartment (we had Green apartment) was clean, spacious, fully equipped and met all our expectations. The price includes 2 sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach, which was great. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk from the accommodation. The accommodation is located on the main street, where you can reach several shopping within a few minutes by car.
Patrizia is amazing lovely person, very helpful and always willing to help :-)

I rate this hotel experience as 5 star!! The accommodations are very clean, visually appealing and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in all matters. I cannot speak highly enough of the very lovely Hotel Velia. The breakfast buffet was delicious offering all types of foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, all the cereals, fresh fruits, meat, cheeses, fresh breads/rolls, freshly made coffee's, etc. A lovely repast every morning. I highly recommend the Hotel Velia as the "go to" hotel in Grottammare.

Beautiful accommodations. The hostess took great care with thoughtful amenities: coffee, tea, lotion, pamphlets for the area. The bedrooms were very clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay again. One suggestion: this is self check in. Communicate with the hostess the day before you arrive, and get check in instructions. We had some trouble communicating when we arrived. Otherwise, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
