Very comfy western style room with a huuuuuge shower. The inn personnel were super helpful and welcoming. And it's close to the night alleys.

Located 3.2 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO offers 4-star accommodation in Kumamoto and features a fitness centre, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel's entrance is something different. The huge doors and the scent you smell as you get inside the building is incredible. The email I got with all the information on how to find the hotel was super helpful. Food was brilliant, and the views with the outside gardens overseeing Kumamoto is amazing. The mix of the hotel and outside gardens, nature at the 8th floor of a building is gorgeous. The room has a bit if a tradional feel with a walk-in shower room and separate room for toilet. If you plan to visit Kumamoto or somewhere near, do consider staying at this hotel.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Espai i atenció immillorables, et sentiràs millor que a casa. Espais agradables i ben decorats. L'onsen és dels millors de tot Kurokawa. Els banys exteriors mixtos són especials, dels pocs que queden al Japó. El menjar és molt bo, sobretot la vedella. Un somni de lloc, que recomanaria a tothom que vulgui uns dies de relaxació i desconnexió. Està una mica apartat del nucli urbà. El cotxe no és imprescindible, però si molt còmode si us voleu moure per la zona i provar altres onsen que també estiguin apartats.

Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Unlike the Miyako in Kyoto, this 208-room property is not associated with Westin/Marriott. The hotel is relatively new, around four years old when writing this. We picked the Miyako Hotel Hakata for its excellent location right adjacent to the Hakata train station. The reception is on the third floor. The staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms are excellent - very spacious and bright. Fully equipped with any amenities you might need and with fantastic beds and pillows. The lights, curtains and drapes are controlled by a tablet on a bedside table. The hotel features a lovely outdoor pool on the top floor amd also has a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We tried the ten course dinner and it was very good. When in Fukuoka we will pick the Miyako again. One of the top hotels we have stayed at during our many hotel nights in Japan.
