Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Very accommodating staff, clean, and feels like a pleasant experience in such a traditional Japanese ambience. Like the amenities and especially the complimentary food that they offer like ramen at night, ice popsicles, and the buffet breakfast! Also love the onsen +sauna! A bonus is the hotel is just across JR Nara station which makes the hotel more accessible!

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The authentic feel, the staff and the location. The fact that it was within the visitor center is a huge plus. And they have a tattoo friendly onsen!

Perfectly halfway between Nara and Osaka, the ryokan itself is tucked away on this incredible pedestrian street, leading up to a beautiful temple that you might have all to yourself to explore. And you get there by cat car! The whole thing feels like stumbling on a wonderful secret. Excellent traditional breakfast, the hosts are so lovely and accommodating. Can't recommend highly enough.
