A bit off the beaten path, but an easy walk or trishaw ride to town. Its location was a plus since it was peaceful and serene. The owner helped arrange a guide to Knuckles Forest Reserve. The meals were also delicious and authenticity Sri Lankan. We would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved the view from the terrace and the location. It’s away from the main road and not noisy. The house is so cozy and Pearlie and Rajan are so great people. I really enjoyed their company and those delicious meals they cooked. They treated me with so many tasty Sri Lankan curries. I loved everything. And sweats also. And they adjusted to my food preferences. Being vegetarian, not eating garlic, onion and chilly in Sri Lanka can be quite hard, almost every meal has smth I don’t eat. But they cooked for me the most delicious pure veg and sattvic food. I absolutely loved my stay there. And was kinda a bit sad yo leave.

The view is magical, the staff is welcoming and so helpful and the food is delicious. The owner, Supun, will take you around visiting the highlights of the area. He's a friendly and knowledgeable person that is always there to help. Highly highly recommended! You will regret leaving!

Everything was amazing: the food, the amazing service with Jason in charge (best so far in Sri Lanka) and the great guide Charaka who accompanied us to a small trek in the jungle with my 3 years old son. The bungalows are clean, the beds are comfy and there is everything you need - if they don’t have already in the room, you ask and they find a solution! The views are incredible! We spent Christmas there, they went all the way into creating a Christmas tree with lights on the heliport so we could have dinner around it - a special barbecue. The food is also a fair price for the quality you get.

The place at A Frame Riverston is really beautiful with hills, grasslands, and bushes all around. The weather was a bit cool, but the wind felt amazing. We could feel the breeze and enjoy the view. The area is very pretty and awesome. We had really good meals there, which made our stay even better. The food was delicious and added to the enjoyment of our trip. It was great to have such tasty meals while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay was very pleasant because of the lovely weather, stunning views, and delicious food. We would love to visit again in the future.

Really calming and beautiful environment. It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jennifer and her family for going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They graciously accommodated my request to have breakfast ready by 6 am, as I had an early work commitment. Their attention to detail and commitment to meeting my needs elevated my experience to new heights. Hilltop Retreat truly lives up to its name as a haven of tranquility. It provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, whether you're visiting for work or leisure. The villa offers a serene and comfortable retreat that rejuvenates the soul.
