We had a great stay at this hostel and can highly recommend it. The hostel is new, very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They offer different evening activities, which makes it easy to meet new people if you’re traveling alone or just want to socialize. We used the shared kitchen during our stay. The staff cleaned it every morning, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the kitchen was often not very clean later in the day because some guests left it quite messy. That’s a real shame, as the hostel itself is not at fault at all. If you decide to stay here, please help keep the kitchen clean and wash your own dishes — it makes a big difference for everyone. The pool, on the other hand, was always clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even returned to this hostel for another stop during our trip.

breakfast was good on both the days. there's always scrambled eggs, cheese slices, sliced luncheon meat (deli), oj, coffee, fruit bowl, bread, jam, butter, amazing corn bread, muesli, yogurt and a toaster to toast ur bread. the views are special here and the waters are perfect throughout the day and early night too. not deep at all so safe for everyone. Great location on the lagoon and has kayaks and SUPs which you can use. Very clean room and amazing view of the lagoon from the 5th floor. Staff are super friendly and happy to help. Bathroom is also great with a large shower.

All the bungalows are next to the laguna. You have large windows and mosquito nets. The bungalows are very clean and spacious. The small fridge was very much appreciated. You have canoes, SUPs, and live vests at your disposal. Parking is convenient.

Sebastian and his wife the owners of this «casa» are absolutely nice, careful and all else you could think about a property owners should take care about their clients. You can go there with closed eyes, you and your family will enjoy the experience a lot. The amenities are great including the swimming pool. The rooms are huge and well equipped. Don’t miss it if you are in the area!!!

Super friendly staff, large and clean rooms. available kayaks to use in the lake. Nice self-service breakfast. The area is easy to reach with restaurants nearby, and easy to book boat trips nearby also. The pontoon by the lake is wonderful to relax.

What I like most about Casa Momo is the fact that it is a family business. Claudia and her mom, Claudia, were very kind and generous. Communication was great from day 1 and they provided very good tips in Bacalar. The place was nice and clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the AC in the room makes a significant difference at night. I would recommend it 100%.
