Such a beautiful accommodation. Stunning room, interiors and pool. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming and interesting. Loved every second staying here.

We loved our stay at El Jardin. The place is beautiful, the staff are great and helpful. We especially appreciated the swimming pool in the hot May weather. The accommodation was great, with a bedroom and living room. We recommend this establishment 100%.

This was for sure one of the most aesthetically impressive accommodations we’ve ever been in. All the details are very curated and it feels like you really live the local experience. Location is just a short walk (15-20 mins) from a few nice restaurants. We’d definitely recommend!

Carlos and the team at Casona Origen Merida are top tier. We were provided with a list of recommendations for things to do in and around Merida before our arrival. The staff were readily available and the brekky is delish. Carlos also went above and beyond helping me with a DHL delivery for things I forgot at accommodation in another city. Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would stay again. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. There are two lush pools and the greenery in the garden make it really peaceful 10/10

This is the best accommodation to stay in Valladolid. The hosts are super nice and friendly. Breakfast is filling and delicious. A real family environment, with a wonderful small garden and pool. They have two puppies they are also very cute. No unnecessary luxury, nice and neat, a real Mexican feeling.

We loved our stay here! The space and apartment were really modern, clean and well equipped. I loved that you could see the water from the room too, plus the hammock was lovely to relax on. It was the perfect place to relax. The hosts were really helpful and booked us a tour out to see the flamingos. He was excellent and both the accomodation and the trip made Rio Lagartos a standout stop on our Mexico trip.

A great stay in a funky homestay style place. Nice big, clean room. Water, coffee, tea, fruit and toast available 24x7. Fantastic, friendly hosts, and very quiet accommodation despite the perfect central location in the middle of Valladolid.

I booked a 2-night stay and then added 3 more nights. I'll just add to my previous review that Posada Merci had the most comfortable pillows of the 10 hotels and BnBs we stayed at during our Mexico vacation. Their excellent curtains meant we had the darkest room for our good sleeps there. Merci Posada Merci!

The staff at the restaurant (and Rene) really want guests to enjoy their stay and are very attentive. There’s a viewing platform on top of one of the accommodation blocks with views to Chichén-Itza.
