The hotel has been beautifully curated with even the finest details applied. Truely an experience, with everything you could ever need on site -- incredible rooftop pool and sauna, multiple restaurants on-site, a cafe in the lobby for a coffee or sweet fix, whenever you need. I cannot wait to return to Oslo, simply to stay at Sommerro. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a weekend at this art deco paradise!

The hotel is located away from the city center but access to public transport was very easy. The room was large and very comfortable. All the personnel was kind and very helpful, they assisted us right away in every request. The breakfast was excellent, all products of high quality, with a chef and assistants always fillng each item. It was a very pleasant stay.

This elegant hotel is 850 metres from Oslo Central Station and 2 minutes’ walk from the main street Karl Johans gate. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with free gym and sauna access. I loved everything, location, bed and covers, breakfast, sparkling water

The apartment is located on the ground floor, a 12-minute walk from the metro station and a 6-minute walk from bus #21, which goes directly to the city center. The central train station is three metro stops away. The owners allowed us to check in early, met us, and handed us the keys. The apartment is impeccably clean and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. Our flight departed in the evening, and we were very grateful that we were allowed to check out much later. We liked everything and especially the caring attitude of the owners, the owners were always in touch and promptly responded to all our questions.

The place is very artistic, with lots of small details that really stand out—beautiful paintings, creative artwork, and thoughtfully designed lighting throughout the space. It has a unique and cozy atmosphere that makes it feel special rather than generic. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the experience. Another big plus is the location: there are plenty of cheap eating options nearby, including halal food. The hotel is also very convenient, just about a 10-minute walk from the central station. Overall, a great choice for travelers who appreciate art, comfort, and a good location at a reasonable price.

I had a perfect stay at this apartment in Høyenwall, Oslo. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the metro, with multiple metro stations nearby, making it very easy to get around using public transport. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive throughout our stay, and even left thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate for us. There’s honestly nothing negative to say. Tip for future guests: if you’re arriving with luggage and using the metro, getting off at Manglerud is easier since the walk to the apartment is downhill. Highly recommended!
