They were so friendly, I had some incredible chats with everyone, and of course the dogs were sweethearts - well trained, didn't jump up at me but did want pats if possible. I don't really write reviews normally but honestly this stay was a highlight of my trip. They did also mention that some people who come to stay aren't that sociable and that they are more than happy with that - very much each to their own so even if you aren't sociable, this will be a relaxing stay. Views were wonderful from the deck, spa was delightful, but honestly, the people were fantastic. Definitely think I'll stay here any time I'm in Whangarei going forward.

The room is comfortable and kept it warm (we stayed in May). Cindy and Schalk are amazing! For us who are super shy, they explained us everything and made us feel welcome. The toilet is not in the room, but is just for you so it was perfect. You can use the kitchen if you like and there is a lot of space for parking. Last but not least, the view from the room is amazing!
