This is a vinyard (they don't make wine on site) and is tucked at the end of a valley, so all views were of the Douro river and wineries. The accommodation is distributed in different buildings and there is beautiful landscaping and outdoor seating, plus a pool looking over the valley. The food is very good (breakfast and dinner). We missed out on a wine tasking - you do need to book - but did our own by the glass on the restaurant terrace. Not really for kids, but for adults, a lovely place. The staff were super friendly and really did make us feel welcome.

Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Alex spent a lot time with us explaining the different things we could do in the area with maps and great suggestions. Room was very comfortable And cleans the breakfast was amazing ! The best hotel so far on our stay !!!!

Some rooms have a private balcony. The location of this hotel is spectacular, right between the historical River Douro and River Bestança, close to the incredible N-222 road. Had an amazing view from my room during my stay. As it was off season, the hotel was pretty empty, which was not a problem as I was able to get great breakfast and dinner in the property. There's free parking right next to the hotel. There are many small towns nearby to get supplies if needed and great opportunities for hiking and exploring.

The location and views are incredible. Very spacious, beautiful rooms. Miguel and his family are the best hosts, made us feel like home. Can’t forget to mention - THE DINNERS were such a wholesome experience. Sharing the table with other guests, eating delicious homemade food and drinking their wines were the cherry on top of the cake. Highly recommend and we will be back.
