We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in the Quintas largely due to the beautiful accommodations at Casa das Quintas. It was a welcoming refuge at the end of busy days exploring the region. The location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was gracious and kind. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

This accomodation is located on wonderful location. Rooms are very clean, from the terrace with swimming pool is great view on the river Douro. From there you can also watch the sunset. The staff is very friendly and everyone tries hard for the guest's comfort. I highly recommend visiting this accommodation.

Every part of our stay was brilliant. The staff couldn't do more for us and very friendly. We had booked a room with a private pool and it was fantastic, a completely relaxing little haven. We ate a few times in the evening at the restaurant which is a set daily menu of 3 courses and we also did the on-site wine tasting which I would highly recommend. The other thing we did was order the picnic one evening which was lovely, all freshly prepared and delivered in picnic baskets to our room. Perfect romantic and intimate couples holiday!

It was one of the best places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel is beautifully located and decorated with attention to detail. Quite a large area with greenery and stunning viewpoints, a swimming pool with sun loungers, tennis court, billiards, etc. Everything you need for a successful holiday. The service was so friendly and helpful.

The service was clear-cut and helpeful for my check-in. I was able to make the most of my accommodation and was surprised to the loneliness of the apartment and the centrality of the hostel to the downtown area. The bathroom in my "shared-room" (lonely stay) was beautiful.

Iconic setting and a truly luxurious and secluded guest house accommodation. We will always remember this stay due it its stunning views and kind staff. The accommodation encourages socialising with other guests if you choose, and also provides total romantic privacy. Opening your blinds to survey the terraced vineyards down to the Douro River has to be seen to be believed!
