A Wonderful Experience at Casa Tritao We truly enjoyed our stay. The host gave us a warm welcome, was kind, friendly, and shared excellent recommendations for local hikes and attractions. The apartment is tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and very comfortable – simply a delight. Its location in the heart of the ancient village, surrounded by 200- to 300-year-old houses, added a unique and special charm to our stay. An experience we will cherish for many years to come. Highly recommended!

Staff All the staff were really friendly and helpful.The young guy who looked after us in the dining room was particularly lovely. Check in, check out. Easy to do. Room The rooms are quite large and spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and excellent ensuite bathrooms. Food Evening meals had a good selection and were really well cooked. Breakfast has a massive selection of fresh fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, and more. Cleanliness Everywhere was immaculately kept. Car parking. There are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel.

Amazing views, comfortable rooms and tasty food. We were lucky to stay in Vila Gale Douro during harvest and enjoy a visit to the vineyard - truly unforgettable experience.

Pedro is an amazing host. We felt like at home. The hostel is spotless and it has everything you need in the kitchen. You can actually have breakfast on the house. The rooftop terrace is amazing and so it's the view.

Location was excellent as well as the host. The accommodation was perfect for us.

Great location in Pinhão, close to the river Douro and its amenities, nice dipping pool to cool down amidst the vines and beautiful views, proximity to the station in one of the most beautiful railways in Europe, good restaurants, tasty and good value, but most of all, our kind and helpful host Emília. The visit and wine tasting with Bruno was also fantastic. A little gem in the Douro valley!

We came to see the wonderful views of the valley of Douro, and were quite pleasantly surprised to have the view on the terrace of my room. There was no big problem to reach the room by foot in daylight (we don't carry heavy luggage), and when we needed a ride in the evening, we were well inspired to approach the room owner, that also runs a bar in the town, near the rail station.

The room was very comfortable and linens and towels of high quality. Loved the pool - just what we needed after the hot train trip.

We were met by the very friendly and helpful host, Isabella. She showed us through our apartment and explained that a breakfast basket would be delivered to our door at our preferred time in the morning. It was loaded with goodies like fresh bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and fruit. We received such a basket with fresh food on each morning of our stay. The property has a pool and lounge area with majestic views over the picturesque Douro Valley. It was a great spot to eat our breakfast and relax in the evening after a busy day out and about. A morning and afternoon swim was a must. We absolutely recommend this property. Thank you Isabella !!

Beautiful apartment very close to train and restaurants and the river. Breakfast foods were great and also coffee making facilities, we loved sitting by the pool admiring the view.

A lovely place in Pinhao! We loved everything and could not have stayed in an better apartment. We will come back for sure!! Its in the very center, but the view of the river is fantastic.

The apartment is lovely. It is very spacious, clean, and well equipped. Monica is a very excellent host. She was very quick to provide information on accessing the apartment and parking location. The apartment is conveniently located near the train station and river.

The beautiful view. The kind owners. We got fresh bread every morning. We apprichated that we got our cloth washed. Everything was fine.

The view was spectacular, possibly the best view in the whole town! The room smelt so clean and fresh when we walked in, it was clearly very freshly cleaned. The welcoming port and biscuits were perfect after a long train trip. The whole package was exactly as described and the hosts were so helpful and quick to respond. Couldn't have improved it.
