Gina was very thoughtful - there were fresh fruit & flowers with a small bottle of red & macaroons to welcome me! My flight departs later in the afternoon & she let's me stay past my check out time & booked me a taxi to the airport. Attentive all the way.

The house is lovely and has wonderful grounds to enjoy. We had one rainy morning in which we read our books in the sitting room area, which was cozy and quiet. The breakfast was very nicely appointed as well. We had the family room, which was larger than we needed, but allowed us to spread out nicely. We would have liked to stay for longer!

This super clean, cozy and very well-equipped house was even nicer than expected, and situated on an amazing plot of land. Awesome views of the ocean and Pico, fruit trees, chickens, bees, goats & cows in your backyard,. Lucia & Tony could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Hope to return next year for more than just one week.

Comfortable Accommodations: Casa BuonVento in Horta offers a guest house with free WiFi, parquet floors, and sea views. Some rooms include a private bathroom, work desk, and wardrobe. The hospitality and friendliness, the style of the house and room. The hosts went two extra miles to ensure we would have a fantastic stay on the island

Best of all was Lenita, she was so friendly, helpful and a mine of information about life on Faial.
