The hotel was a nice surprise to me. When I booked there were no previous comments, as the hotel was brand new (it has opened only some days before). But everything was beyond my expectations. The location is excellent, close to the port, on a flat street and very convenient, because the Alfama area is mostly uphill. The girl (Nelly) at the reception was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was of a great variety and quality. Congratulations to the cook preparing it!

Everything was excellent!! Clean, comfortable, good location. Having laundry was a bonus, also the ability to restock supplies as needed. Loved the secure access to the building and our room as well. Didn't meet any staff per sé but communication was efficient.

In the middle of a busy street but the bedroom was at the back and we did not hear anything at night. Lots of small shops as well as supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance. Also lots of restaurants if you do not want to prepare your own meals. Comfortable one bedroom accomodation with all the basics you need. Communication was swift and good.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The apartment was beautiful, clean and the beds were really comfortable. They had a little welcome basket with some local treats that were really thoughtful. The hairdryer was amazing, as was the water pressure. Really nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen was really well equipped, they even had a clothes rack, which was helpful as it rained and we all got soaked. There was also complimentary coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate in the lobby. We had 2 apartments for 11 people, ranging from 11 to 77 years old, and everyone agreed that this was a 10!

I highly recommend this lovely hotel which offers everything one could wish for - beautifully-finished, spotlessly-clean rooms, stunning front desk team, great service in the intimate bar and restaurant, and a 10/10 location. The attention to detail at the AlmaLusa Alfama is amazing. One word describes this property - GORGEOUS.
