Lovely, calm hotel with everything you need. The staff was super friendly and helpful. When we visited Sintra, all the historical sites like palace and castle were closed due to high fire risk, but the hotel‘s staff provided us with good tips how to spend our time while waiting for the historical sites to be opened again. The hotel is super calm, great rooms, great pool to cool down and very good breakfast. We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice!

Our stay at Quinta dos Lobos was truly exceptional from start to finish! Nestled in the serene nature of Sintra, this place feels like a hidden gem. The room was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and offered a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible staff—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Though we made a last-minute request for a dinner reservation, they didn’t hesitate to accommodate us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The restaurant on-site served phenomenal food, full of flavor and prepared with so much care—it ended up being one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip! To top it all off, the reception team went above and beyond. We had plans to catch a fado show in Lisbon, and they kindly helped us find the perfect restaurant for the evening. They really made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Highly recommend Quinta dos Lobos to anyone looking to experience the magic of Sintra with top-notch service, delicious food, and pure comfort surrounded by nature. Can’t wait to come back!

Location and excellent employees

A charming place. We enjoyed the warm welcome. A place to stay for a few days while discovering the area. Everything is thought about to make a longer stay enjoyable. A nice and clean kitchen, a comfortable lounge and terrace. The family rooms are large and nicely decorated. The bathroom is clean and modern. It had the most comfortable bed of our stay in Portugal. Everything was perfect. A bakery is 3 min walk away.

Secluded and comfortable with lovely outdoor area and pool. Room was nice and clean. Quiet at night and quite close to old town.

Absolutely amazing stay, we had so mich fun, grrat atmosphere, nice that there were different places selling food so my whole family was happy as everyone found their favorites. Big plus for the supermarket and the cafe where we could grab breakfast. Close to the beach. We loved it.

It is a great accommodation if you really want to feel the atmosphere of Sintra. It is well located, quiet, has a wonderful view. Parking is very convenient if you come by car.

It was really great! Private parking is a miracle for Sintra and it was great to have it. There you can feel your privacy as much as you need: you have your codes for going everywhere and do not interfere with other people if you don't want to. Breakfast is also great: with freshly baked homemade pastels and croissants. And there is a great restaurant just opposite the hotel

The property is amazing, very cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff help us with restaurante indications and the area is very safe. We can go walking to downtown with safe streets. So easy to park the car and to walk on the property with an amazing enrivonment.

I’m really grateful for this nice cheap hostel, which I didn’t expect at all in this expensive touristic town. I was planning to stay in Lisbon and come to Sintra only for one day by train, which wouldn’t be enough at all. But when I found this hostel, I decided to stay for three days to have enough time to enjoy the parks and nature around and it was great decision and maybe the best place, which I visited in Portugal - thanks to this possibility. The hostel was built in several old houses around nice calm courtyard, with view to the castle or Sintra Palace. The location is ideal in the historic center of Sintra (but not the crowded main square), 10 minutes by walk from train station. There was nice common room with couches near TV and one table good for work. Big kitchen with many tables to eat inside or outside on the courtyard-balcony. No problem to leave our luggage after check-out. So I very recommend to come to Sintra for several days instead of staying in Lisbon and visiting just for one day, like most of the tourists do and the town is full of them, but in the evening it is empty. Here you can enjoy the calm time of the day in the mornings and evenings, go to some café or restaurant before it gets too crowded or enter the parks between the first ones.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property in Sintra. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. A major advantage is the fact that there are two bathrooms, essentially one for each bedroom, which makes a big difference when traveling with family or friends. The location is very convenient, close to the train station, which makes getting around very easy. The check-in process was simple and smooth. We also appreciated the heaters available during the winter season, which warm the apartment very well. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, answering our questions and giving us useful restaurant recommendations. We were also welcomed with fruit and water, which was a very thoughtful gesture upon our arrival. Overall, a comfortable and well-located property with a very attentive host. We would definitely recommend it.

Very central. Colourful and positively of the owner who was very helpful. Comfortable, 2 bathrooms to use with 3 toilets. The kitchen was well equipped and organised. Bathrooms veryclean. Would definitely stay again.

Location and customer service were perfect! The room itself is an apartment, very spacious for two, and had everything we needed. Beautiful, stylish, felt like we were at home :) We will be back, thank you so much!
