What a stunning place! We had a very special stay for five nights and enjoyed it a lot. The view is just amazing and the hotel itself is designed perfectly. If you want to have a laid-back and relaxing holiday, then this is the place. And it has its own wine!

Lawrence's Hotel has country-style accommodation featuring a library and an elegant restaurant with French windows. Set in a renovated countryside manor, it boasts rooms fitted with antique furniture.

All rooms feature an old-world décor which include decorative headboards and eiderdowns. Each one is air-conditioned and has satellite TV and plush armchairs in the lounge area. Each private bathroom has a bathtub.

This is an outstanding little inn with small intimate public spaces to sit and read a book. I go to Sintra to stay at Lawrence’s.

Set 6 km from Sintra National Palace, 6 km from Quinta da Regaleira and 6 km from Moors Castle, Beach House - For Nature and Ocean Lovers provides accommodation situated in Sintra. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to free WiFi.

The holiday home offers a terrace. Guests can also relax in the garden.

We had two weeks in the property. Liked the location, very private and a wonderful pool. The house is not new. There are minor things like a dripping tap and slow draining bath but Susana, the owner, was very responsive and arranged a plumber to visit to address things. There is wildlife in the garden, we saw a hedgehog one night and woodpeckers every morning with buzzards passing over, altogether very relaxing. We were given recommendations for where to eat and which beaches were good locally. Azenhos do Mar restaurant - you need to book - great food, we went twice. Macas and Praia a Grande beaches were good. Sintra we visiting a few times, one evening up there we ate at Cafe Paris, not cheap but great food, wine and service. Good supermarkets, in Colares and at the Hitchhikers hostel, very close to the house. We also tried the co-op a bit further away - delicious blueberries from there. If you want a big supermarket the Continente Modelo in Lourel, just North of Sintra, is certainly worth a visit.

We loved the garden and the chirping of the birds in the morning. It is great that there are entertainment options (ping-pong, paddle, bike rental...), as well as many cozy spaces for relaxation. We had breakfast in a very cozy place and always received fresh food. The staff was very nice. We really liked the environmentally friendly equipment.

Lovely place to stay with all the charm of a BnB combined with the hostel option for the price conscious. Owners were helpful and the space was clean and well maintained. A delicious continental breakfast each morning and a nice terrace to relax on in the evening made this a lovely place to stay. Towels were provided and there was a hairdryer available - I would highly recommend
