Very central location but still quiet. Nice patio even though you are in the city center. Clean. We liked that they provided a.o. some tea, coffee and alfajores. Very friendly staff.

Puertovideo se află în Montevideo, la 7 minute de mers pe jos de Piața Independencia și la 500 m de Teatrul Solis. My wife and I stayed at the Puertovideo apartments (one bedroom apt) for five nights in October 2024. We were absolutely delighted with the place! The area looks a little sketchy, especially when we arrived at the weekend. However, we soon realized that most of the streets in the old town looked the same and we had no problems coming and going, day or late at night. It reminded us of midtown New York. The location was perfect, with all the old town attractions within walking distance. The Apt was gorgeous, very modern, spacious and had everything we needed. All the appliances were new, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Dirk (the owner) was in touch with us well in advance of our stay, and the lovely Betha took care of us from check-in. They were very friendly, helpful, very responsive, and we lacked nothing over our stay. All in all, great value for money and a great place to stay in Montevideo!

Very easy to check in/out, host replied promptly and was very approachable and offered clear instructions. Dark blinds, hot shower and comfortable bed and sofa/bed. Kitchen was modern and well equipped. Flat is super new and well maintained. Avenue was busy (can’t park along it) but not too noisy. Terrace with barbecue was a plus, we loved it! Great for a stay with 2 kids, I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Alejandro!
