Echuca has two differing shopping areas (1) in the main area and (2) down near the Port Precinct all very accessible and everyone is very helpful in the Establishments. Had a great time, during our two day stay.

The Historical Port along with walking trails is a perfect...
The Historical Port along with walking trails is a perfect area to also enjoy the Paddle Steamer River Cruises. A visit to the Information centre in this area is a must, lovely staff who are only too happy to ensure you make the most of your visit to Echuca. We opted for the Silo art trail purely on being given this brochure, and it was a perfect way to see other small towns. We had one day relaxing, and the rest of the week was on the go enjoying what Echuca and surrounding towns had to offer.
On the whole, using Echuca as our base was a perfect option! Highly recommend!

Next time we will go for more than just an overnight stay, we didn't get a chance to explore much at all, but we thoroughly enjoyed the paddle steamer ride . For a delicious meal go to the Moama RSL :)

We loved the location and activities offered in Echuca.
We loved the location and activities offered in Echuca. As Echuca is very flat it is ideal for cycling.
There are few bike paths along the river. The condition of the paths is quite uneven. Improved access, signage and surfaces would attract cyclists. The area to the east of the old bridge has a lot of litter. This is an eyesore and needs to be attended too.

Staggered at the new residential development around the Moama area; obviously, lots of people are voting with their feet.
So much to see and do.
Terrific range of quality restaurants nearby; close to some great parkland and rural areas for a taste of the great outdoors.
