The manager/ owner was very helpful and knowlegable for the surrounding sights of Echuca. It was a very modern, clean and well presented unit. We had been allowed to enter earlier. We would book it again and are recommending this motel to other guests.

Echuca has a rich history.

Echuca has a rich history. In the mid 1800s it was a key port in Australia and played a leading role in the transportation of goods and people. Taking a steamboat tour and an old port walking tour offers fascinating information on the history of the Murray River and Port of Echuca. There are numerous good places to eat in Echuca at all times of day. Plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. It is also easy to walk from the train station to and around the old port district and you can hire e-bikes if you feel like exploring the area further.

We didn’t see much as our stay was to short and the kids...

We didn’t see much as our stay was to short and the kids were happy to stay at park as there was so much to do next time we will stay a lot longer so we can go explore Echuca more as myself here was so much I wanted to do

We do love Echuca, son and his family live here.

We do love Echuca, son and his family live here. There are lots of cafes, resturants, pub food-cant go past the 101 parmas at The Shamrock, there's variety of shops and local events and activities..

Fabulous town, with history and charm, plenty of accomodation for all budgets, and plenty of dining options. I'd recommend "Black Pudding Cafe" for breakfast. For dinner I enjoyed "Monkee and Co". Unpretentious, but really good Asian fusion food. Best Gyoza for a long time and the Lamb Shank Rendang was excellent.The wine options were limited but good and fairly priced.

Echuca has a lot to offer Lots of different types of shops Lots of different food places to choose from The Port is very interesting to walk around. I found it very relaxing just sitting at the port and watching the paddle steamers go by I took two separate Paddle steamer cruises and both were highly enjoyable A very relaxing way to spend an hour on the river

Love the Port, very good history of Victorian transport over...

Love the Port, very good history of Victorian transport over 100 years ago. Good working equipment. So many really good places to eat, warm and friendly. Could walk everywhere. Pubs were great, especially the Star.

Location was great, we stayed here 9 years ago and it’s exactly the same. Needs a total overhaul . Not clean inside insects on the walls inside, black hair in the shower plug. Which I personally found disgusting.. aircon did not work it’s blowing out air but it’s not cooling down. Likely needs regased. The mattress on the bed needs replacing asap, absolutely terrible . Stayed from Friday to Sunday and we had no sleep at all. We will not recommend or ever use this accommodation again ,

I stayed at the High Street Hotel over a number of weeks while working in Echuca. It was walking distance to coffee shops (one next door), restaurants, bars and my place of work. It was a short walk to the historical Port of Echuca. The room was very comfortable, with some nice little touches like open hanging space, and keyless check in. The staff where always very friendly and helpful.

Closest accommodation to parkrun if that's your reason for visiting Echuca! A short drive or medium walk into town. Guest kitchen and complementary laundry on site. Easy access to river walkways. Staff attended promptly to an issue with noisy guests.
