HOME AWAY FROM HOME is located in Staad, just 13 miles from Dornbirn Exhibition Center and 13 miles from Olma Messen St. Gallen. The location is excellent. Very very good transport links towards main attractions in all directions. Railway Station is a stones throw away. Communication with host is easy and timely. Rooms are clean, tidy, well furnished with essentials. Comfortable seating arrangements. Plenty of space for the family. Use of a.balcony was nice. The TV has a great service allowing international channels to be viewed. Other shops are a short walk away. If you're going to be out late then the surrounding area feels safe. The fridge is a very good size. Two toilets in the flat is helpful too. So was a lift when carrying luggage. There were child travel cots and a high chair in the flat as well as towels and spare bedding. The neighbours that we met were very helpful too Very good, we were in Switzerland for the Women's Euros. I would happily return to the area to explore more without the football and would look to stay here again.

There is an old, very interesting chapel next to it. The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

Surrounded by a large garden with a terrace and a historic chapel, Schloss Wartensee in Rorschacherberg offers panoramic views over Lake Constance. The view from the restaurant outdoor was stunning! We saw hawks, cows, boats on the lake, beautiful thunder etc. The vibe was serene and positive. The server/hotel manager was great, the wine was good and we would visit again.

The BEST WESTERN Hotel Rebstock, run by the same family for 3 generations, offers panoramic views of Lake Constance from the restaurant, spacious rooms with a balcony, free WiFi and free parking on... Everything was excellent from start to finish: very friendly staff through the hotel, very nice, spacious and well appointed room (if you can, get a junior suite with lake view), dinner at the restaurant was also very good (nice variety of choices and good wine list, nice views of the lake from almost all tables) and so was the breakfast (wide selection). Highly highly recommended!
