The extremely friendly service and flexible attitude of the personnel was great. When I unexpectedly had to extend my stay, they quickly helped and made sure an extended stay at the hotel was possible. Moreover, the hotel personnel has always been friendly and helpful. I am thankful for the service, which is the reason I write this review.
Additionally, I highly recommend the breakfast and room facillities. The breakfast was worth the money and the cheap room did offer a good space to work (bureau setup), nice beds, and proper bathroom.

Lovely family run hotel. Very warm welcome and useful help in parking the car. Beautiful room, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast, high quality, very tasty and great selection. It is worth visiting Erfurt just to stay in this wonderful hotel.

Very interesting mix of history and architecture from...
Very interesting mix of history and architecture from various periods. Wonderful medieval, renaissance and Wilhelminan buildings. Erfurt has very little intrusion of ugly communist structures that mar other eastern German towns. There is no atmosphere of mass tourism and Weimar is less than 20 min away by train.

This is a hidden gem. Old city with lots of history.
This is a hidden gem. Old city with lots of history. Good restaurants and easy to get around in town. The tram system is easy to use and is very accessible for disabled people. There is a tour of the old town and it is recommended. O and there is a very good ice cream caffe - Eiscafe Riva a must.

Erfurt is a beautiful city filled with half-timbered houses.
Erfurt is a beautiful city filled with half-timbered houses. There's lots to see and do and great shops. We enjoyed the informative walking tour and the Krämerbrücke and its surroundings. We tried several different restaurants, all good. We were able to easily take the train to Weimar for a day trip.
