Very nice large and clean Spa area and very relaxing spa treatments. The 'superior double room' had a tea/ coffee maker and a balcony. Cosy bath robes for use in the spa were provided. The food, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The location of the hotel is quiet and well-situated for hiking, but also very close to public transport.
Check-out was at 12 noon, allowing guests to enjoy the last morning in the spa and have a late breakfast - thank you !

Haus Liebetrau is a wonderful place with an exceptional host. Falco went out of his way to make us feel welcome, included us in an event taking place and was super helpful with our dog. We wish him all the best for his business and hope many more people can experience this place, Friedrichroda and the Thuringian Forrest!

I really enjoyed the nice breakfast at the hotel, and the activities for kids, like the cinema and Kinderdisco, were great. The water in the swimming pool was warm, which made swimming very pleasant.
