Owner is a super cool lady, my bad I arrived earlier than agreed time, and She still showed up in a few minutes and checked us in.
house is like in the pictures, even better, super tidy and clean, and most importantly silent. Garden is amazing. We just went there to sleep for a night, but i would enjoy a few extra days, reading books, drinking coffee at the patio.
Inside you can see every detail is well thought, and there is a kind of artist touch on most items (walls, decorations etc.)
there is even a garage for your car in the patio.
Keramoti/the beaches are in driving distance maybe 10-15 minutes

Everything you need was available, a big house, spacious, the beach of Keramoti is only 5-6 km away, 5-6 minutes by car. There is a regular transport to the beach. There is no need, if you are going to Keramoti (and this is the best beach in Greece), to get stuck in the narrow apartments by the beach and push each other car by car there. Come to Nea Karia, the right place to relax in Keramoti.

One bedroom flat well furnished with everything you might need. A nice little garden, parking space and peaceful.
The host lives next door and might accommodate any extra request.
5 min away there is the town port of Keramoti with regular transport to the island of Thasos.
Although we stayed for a short period, we had a great time and we would return soon.

Brand new apartment, extremely clean. Friendly host and dogs around the house, my daughter played with the dogs quite long :-). The location area is still in development, but the advantage of it is the quietness.

It's a nice town, but nothing special.
It's a nice town, but nothing special. The beach is huge, and the side facing the harbor is very shallow with quiet water. There isn't a pedestrian area in the town and the traffic near the harbor where most of the taverns are can be quite busy. There are also tons of mosquitos after sunset.

It is a Village near to the city of Kavala. It is very well organised and it has local markets, a park, place for live shows, beach, coffee shops and taverns. The prices there are much cheaper on the entire region of Kavala.

Skala Rachoniou is a nice and quiet, small place. Excellent for vacation and relaxation. Plenty of crystal, cool sea water with exceptional small size beaches located next to each other. Tasty traditional Greek cuisine offered from several tavernas in a close walking distance. Nice bakery located downtown on the main road. Supermarkets available as well. Nice boutique hotels and villas everywhere.

A small port village that is just starting to develop as an independent resort.
The beaches are great - wide, long, with nice sand and shallow shores. There are large free areas, as well as areas with sun loungers. There is plenty of parking space (this was in September).
The village itself is quiet - as if you are walking through a nice residential area. All stores, pastry shops, restaurants and fast food places are located on the main street, which is also the ferry port for Thassos.
Unfortunately, the main street in question is quite unmaintained, there are no normal sidewalks, it is difficult to walk along it. You constantly stop to let the cars pass, and there are a lot of them, especially if a ferry has arrived or is departing.

Just above the village there are remains of an ancient fortress, as well as a cave used as a bunker and ammunition depot.

I like this place.
I like this place. As I arrived, the apartment was very clean, with completely new furniture, a soft sofabed and smart-TV with internet. It's a quiet place and only 120 meters from a cozy cafe with delicious cappuccino and sweets. It's also very close to the Ferry in Limenas - about 13 minutes by taxi.

Easy access to this location. You can take the ferry to Tasos for 30-40 minutes and 5 euro for a person ticket. The schedule is every 30 minutes and you can make a day trip to the island.
There are very nice places to eat in Keramoti - restaurants offer fresh sea food, traditional Greek dishes and drinks. Cafeterias offer nice cold coffee and sweets.

Probably a nice place, but during the Summer. November is a month where people are not seen, no restaurants, nothing to do. Closest thing to do and enjoy the stay, is to go to Kavala, which have a lot to offer and see.

It is a very nice place to rest yourself and get out of the city polution. There is a lot of beaches nearby so you can visit a lot in Thassos generally and you dont need to spend a lot money for gas, because everything is close to another. I would definitively repeat this trip again and give one advice if you want to go to MARBLE Beach and Vathy Beach->take Rent a Car (some offroad car) because the way to that beaches is horrible. DO NOT GO WITH REGULAR CAR (NOR PRIVATE ONE NOR RENTED) there as you can destroy your private car. There is a museum in Thassos Limenas which is outstanding and I will recommend you to go there.
Generally very nice trip and people are polite everywhere and there was no lot of people in September so give a try :) Weather can be changeable but I will leave you to decide. We had days without Sun but it was warm and you could swimm and be in a water for long.
