The hosts where wonderful people, very friendly and made you feel right at home. The accommodation was very handy for closeness to the airport. Only a short stay but there was shops and restaurants nearby and you weren't far from the main road for easy access to wherever you were planning to go to.

Cilipi is a little village about a mile from the airport there is a church a small museum two cafes and a restaurant it is very quiet most of the time but you can hear the planes landing occasionally but that is not really a problem.

Cavtat is a beautiful small harbour with lots of character...
Cavtat is a beautiful small harbour with lots of character and architecture. The town is not for beach stay but more for restaurants and going out for a meal/coffee and taking boat to different parts of the region. There are beaches, however they are often very tiny and on stones. Would definitely recommend visiting this cute little town. Cavtat is also a great base to travel to nearby villages by bus or to Dubrovnik.

In the beautiful Konavle valley, not far from Dubrovnik, Čilipi has a small but interesting ethnographic museum across the square from St. Nicholas church. Try to time your stay to see the folk dancing. A short drive away you will find the Sokol Grad fortress and a restored Rector's residence. Be sure to visit the amazing Konavoski Dvor restaurant.

A good alternative to visit Dubrovnik.
A good alternative to visit Dubrovnik. Still touristy, but a lot more low-key. We ate in a few cafes and restaurants, different budgets and types of food. Cavtat is very walkable, and you can get the bus or a boat into Dubrovnik. There are lots of little beaches and swim spots, and some nice trails to explore.

Room was clean.
Room was clean. Website says has restaurant with a la cart menu…. since it was Sunday and we were the only guests, manager offered to cook spaghetti which I don’t eat…and referred us to a pizza place, which turned out to be good . Breakfast was personally cooked for us since we were the only guests. Most stores nearby were closed because it was Sunday. Location to airport was good. Would recommend ONLY as an airport hotel.
