The room was beautiful, nice simple but stylish furnishings, with a lovely roof window with a view of the window. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also really nice and the staff made special efforts to accommodate our dietary requirements (vegan).

We just had the best time in Herceg Vila. We loved our very comfortable and clean room. Nice view over the river. The breakfast was delicious. The short walking distance to the old town was perfect. Parking place was also very good. What we liked most was the very welcoming owner. She gave us many recommendations for the town and Bosnia Herzegovina. We can highly recommend staying here and are already planning our next trip here! Thanks a lot for the nice stay! :)

Trebinje is quite a interesting city.

Trebinje is quite a interesting city. It has mix architecture. The center or Old town is fortress and inside there are a lot of small restaurants, pubs and shops with souvenir. Outside you can find big pedestrian streets covered with big trees. Near by there is a small but beautiful park where you can enjoy with cup of coffee and ice-cream. There are small small mobile shop. Arslanagić Bridge is most see object. And from the bridge there are beautiful riverside walking path that.The river is amaizing.

Unfortunately, the road infrastructure is very bad.

Unfortunately, the road infrastructure is very bad. I remember the same sections of the road from 40 years ago... It is not easy to get to Trebinje from Serbia, but the effort pays off and is worth it...

Trebinje was one of the biggest surprises of our trip...

Trebinje was one of the biggest surprises of our trip through the Balkans. It's a beautiful, peaceful town with a relaxed atmosphere, charming stone streets, and plenty of cafés and restaurants around the old town. Despite being close to Dubrovnik, it feels much more authentic and far less crowded. The surrounding area is stunning, with crystal-clear rivers, vineyards, monasteries, and breathtaking viewpoints. Tvrdoš Monastery is definitely worth a visit, and the views from Hercegovačka Gračanica Monastery are spectacular, especially at sunset. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, prices were very reasonable, and we always felt safe. Trebinje is the perfect place to unwind while still having easy access to Bosnia, Montenegro, and Croatia. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine Balkan experience.

Trebinje is a small town with an excellent location.

Trebinje is a small town with an excellent location. Dubrovnik jr about 100 km from Trebinje. Only Trebinje offers a large number of cultural and historical locations in the city and its immediate surroundings. In the city itself there is a large number of cafes and restaurants with a variety of food.

This is a charming city where the locals are very friendly...

This is a charming city where the locals are very friendly and helpful. It is unspoilt in that there are almost no tourists. The downside of this is that the standard of restaurants is hit and miss and there are no non-smoking spaces anywhere.

Great location, parking was offsite but staff helped with bags so no problem. The room was charming, well equiped with a quaint table corner and balcony, clean and good size. Very convenient to have restaurant downstairs. Staff very helpful, enjoyed my stay, will return.

Fantastic property, unbelievably well priced. Dragan is a wonderful host and I would certainly stay again if I ever return to Trebinje. The property is right in the heart of the old town, access to everything within seconds. The terrace and views of the mountains and rivers are phenomenal for the price. The room is comfortable and has all you need for a short stay. One of the best places I’ve ever booked. Thanks to Dragan and his family for their hospitality.

The room is really basic and small, but does the job to stay there for a couple of nights. The price is really good for the value, that it offers. It's close to the historical city center of Trebinje and you can go by foot. It's also easy to park your car near this place. I liked it overall, it was a very good value and Bosnia is such a great country. Hwala!
