I had an amazing stay at Boutique Hotel Mostay! The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very quiet, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home.
The location is excellent—close to all the main attractions, restaurants, cafés, and the Old Town, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a restful night's sleep. Having free private parking was a huge advantage and made our stay even more convenient.
Everything exceeded our expectations, from the cleanliness and comfort to the outstanding service. I highly recommend Hotel Mostay to anyone visiting Mostar. I will definitely stay here again!

The small spa was a lovely bonus, peaceful, never crowded, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is also excellent, with the city center just a short walk away.

One of main features of the place is the hotel restaurant, people come here from the city and at dinner it is usually fully booked. The food is great! So are a la carte breakfasts. The spacious territory of the hotel gives you a feeling of freshness compared to typical tight Balkan towns. The sunsets are amazing!

SpainImpeccably clean, lovely rooms, newly renovated with convenient parking. Located just outside the city centre, but very easy and quick to walk into town and you also avoid the chaos of the city tours. The on-site parking was also very convenient for us.

We stayed one week and enjoyed the length.
We stayed one week and enjoyed the length. However, you can see everything in a couple of days. Summer is jam packed with day trippers and tours. We explored the old town early in the morning before 10am and then in the evening around 7pm once the hordes of day trippers left. This gave us a chance to really see the architecture and streets. Walkability is not great if you have mobility issues. The river stones on the streets are round and polished from years of wear and are slippery if you don't wear proper shoes with good traction. Temperatures are in mid to high thirties during August. I would recommend going during shoulder season. Less crowds, lower temperatures.

People weren’t that friendly, lots of people and pretty expensive. Most people just wanted to rip off the tourist and the taxi drivers were simply the worst! Prior to arriving in Mostar, we visited Sarajevo where this wasn’t the case nor the following day when we visited Trebinje which was simply wonderful. Only good part of our trip in Mostar was the local gentleman we met during dinner and the walking tour we took with Ivan.
One day is all you need in Mostar (at most)….

Mostar is one of the most beautiful and charming cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and warm hospitality. The iconic Old Bridge (Stari Most), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the heart of the city and a must-see attraction. Walking through the picturesque Old Bazaar, enjoying traditional Bosnian cuisine, and relaxing by the Neretva River create an unforgettable experience. Whether you are interested in history, culture, gastronomy, or simply soaking up the unique atmosphere, Mostar is a destination that every traveler should visit at least once.
f you're looking for recommendations, my favourite café in Mostar is Čardak, located right next to the Old Bridge at the divers' club. It offers a beautiful atmosphere and a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee while taking in the view of the bridge and the Neretva River. For food, I highly recommend Hindin Han—without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Mostar, serving delicious local dishes in a wonderful setting.

This is just a lovely destination in every way.
This is just a lovely destination in every way. It was very hot while I was there (July), but the vistas, the history, the culture and the food were all exceptional. Getting around was not difficult, and people were friendly. Choose a place with a pool if you go in summer! You will need it.

Mostar is a beautiful city full of history and picturesque...
Mostar is a beautiful city full of history and picturesque locations, including the Old Bridge. It is also strategically placed to visit other places like Blagaj and the Waterfalls of Kravica.
Getting around is easy and mostly on foot, which makes it easy to explore. There are a lot of merchants selling handmade stuff around the bridge!
Hindin Han restaurant is one of the best in the Old City. Good fresh food at very affordable prices.

I'm a big fan of Red Bull Clift diving and seeing the Old Bridge in Mostar was exciting. The old town is small and can be easily seen in a day or a quick stop when traveling through. Be aware that Mostar has one of the hottest climates in europe.

We were delighted with this find.
Only been open a month so fixtures are clean and modern. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are thoughtfully designed and beds are very comfortable. Lovely hot showers and unlike many similar style hotels, the air con actually works!
We parked right outside.
The hotel is linked to a cafe out front who do a very good breakfast with fantastic fresh orange juice.
Short walk into Mostar old town.
Loved this place - would definitely recommend.

This hotel is er charming, it's clean, next to old city and the service is top. The breakfast is very good, and they serve the best bosnian coffee. And lastly the location is perfect. The hotel is placed in the old city close to everything 😊
When I come back to Mostar, I will stay here, and I recommend you do the same.

Tucked away in the old town just a few minutes walk from the famous bridge. I loved this hotel, great facilities,staff, quiet and lovely breakfast.
Mostar is a vibrant, beautiful place with a dark history that is very much worth a visit, and Meydan is a good place to stay.

Clean and comfortable hotel centrally located in Mostar, perfect for exploring the Old Town. The bathrooms were lovely and modern. Hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. Free good WiFi. There is a great rooftop that you can sit on with coffee or a beer.
