A recently renovated apartment, Maple place offers accommodations in Velika Gorica. Housed in a building dating from 1985, this apartment offers free Wifi and free private parking. My stay at Maple place was the most authentic experience of all 10 days I was in Croatia. The facilities were exactly what I needed and my hosts were extremely pleasant. They arranged to pick and drop me off at the airport and charged what I would have paid for a taxi or Uber, but without any hassle. Mainly I was stopping in Zagreb to get to the airport, this spot was perfect for that. There is a charm to the area and despite being close to some highway roads, I really liked the country feel.

The location is very close to the airport, but surprisingly in a quiet neighborhood with highways, and other attractions in and around Zagreb about 15-20 minutes by car (also a short walk to busses).
