The host is very nice and friendly. But he has a strong accent so beware :) When looking for a cheap place near Killarney, I believe this is your best bet.

Woodlands House in Farranfore provides adults-only accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a shared lounge. Fantastic setup here for our night before a morning flight from Kerry Airport. Absolutely wonderful hosts making our stay top notch. We so appreciate Eilis and Billy and their kind hospitality!

Lisheenbawn Farmhouse Farranfore by Trident Holiday Homes is located in Farranfore, just 15 miles from INEC and 16 miles from Muckross Abbey. The location is beautiful, the host was kind and courteous, they provided a welcome basket, and milk, bread, etc. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would recommend to others.

We stayed at this lovely cottage a few months ago and had a fantastic experience. It was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday was provided, making it feel like a true home from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommended!
