I stayed here to be closer to the airport for an early flight. This is an old school, no frills hotel that checks all the boxes for an enjoyable stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, the room was a bit dated but charming and very comfortable. There is a great restaurant just outside the front door to the right that served up some of the best beef I had while in Japan. They tried to arrange a taxi to the airport for me but none were available so they got me arranged for the easy and direct bus journey to the airport. Places like this is what makes me love Japan.

The hotel was very clean with good parking. It was convenient to Omura Park, 7/11, supermarket, gasoline and Route 34. We were very pleased, and we want to come again next year!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is not near public transit, but at least a 5 minute walk, which is not so comfortable in 35 deg C weather.
The facilities are very clean and the rooms bigger than I expected.

Great location a minute or so walk from the Megane Bridge. Friendly staff at check in, the room was beautiful and very clean, tatami beds were comfortable. I loved this place and would definitely book again if I ever get to come back to Nagasaki!

There is quite a bit to do from Isahaya. Visit Obama, Unzen and Mt Unzen. But you could also use it as a base for a day trip to Nagasaki. For overseas travellers - a car is essential to see the sites, allowing lots of chances to stop and explore.

Amazing city with mixture of Japanese, Chinese and European cultures and long history. As someone lived in Japan for over a decade I think Nagasaki is one of the most underrated cities in Japan. A true hidden gem that is not over crowded by foreign or local visitors. A great place to visit for culture, food, history, nature, and great views. Kind and friendly locals too. Highly recommended!

We spent 5D but a relaxed tour of the historic sites plus a bit of shopping would probably only need 3-4 days.
We enjoyed the historical sites such as the Atomic Museum, 26 Martyrs Museum. There’s also a balance of nature sites such as Peace Park, Glover Garden and taking the ropeway up Mt Inasayama.
It’s really easy to get around Nagasaki, with the friendly staff at the Tourist Info Centre, using trams and their public buses (just use google!)

The time when we went to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb site was probably not the best time as there seemed to have been at least one cruise ship full of tourists that were in a hurry to see the museum and the site nearest the blast. In addition there were bus loads of students that were also visiting the museum. Hence the museum was really packed and the guests were almost being hurried along just so the queue to enter will not become too long. In this manner, we were not able to see all of the exhibits in the museum nor were we able to linger around the more interesting ones as well. The park was huge but was still filled up with tourists and students. We were still able to enjoy the sculptures that were donated by different countries.
These did not, however, prevent one from feeling the enormity of the effect of the bomb.

Very clean. I love the facial cleanser from DHC. It is very near Nagasaki Dejima Wharf. Theres also a tram station in front of the hotel (Ohato Station). Near the You Me mall. Very accessible going back to Nagasaki Airport.

We liked the beds, the stunning view over Nagasaki from the window and the unique design of the sofa. It was nice to have the spa area (with the nice outside view for the public bath and the sauna). The shower was good and the pillows were soft. Nice TV. They had craft beers and other snacks and drinks to buy from reception (albeit a bit expensive).
The hotel can be easily reached from Nagasaki Airport (first stop on the limousine bus going towards the city center followed by a four minute walk).
The staff were very courteous and polite.
