Very nice, clean, spacious, new room. Super comfy bed. Our week at Siente was amazing. There is a good restaurant and the pool area on the roof top. Excellent view over the jungles. I lived they have a space for yoga classes and yoga matts. They cleaned our room every day, gave us towels for the beach, very good value for quality at such decent price.

The place was so comfortable and tastefully decorated. For our family of 5 with 3 teens it was perfect. Parking was in front of the house, and the whole complex is gated and locked. Everyone had their own bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. Right across the road there was as supermarkets, and on both sides of the road there were food trucks, were we picked up tasty tacos, burritos, etc. for older people - to get to the bedrooms the steps are rather steep, but with railings. Waschmaschine and dryer were nice, too. Took us about 20 minutes to get to Akumal by car. We hat our own little pool on the patio on top, and there was beautiful communal spaces - which I felt I was using alone- a minute walk away. Pool to swim, and pool table as well as table tennis to play. Little gym. Just wonderful, the place. Two caretakers Yamile and Ilse were very helpful and sweet, responding right away.

I love how quiet it is when it comes to staff intromission, I mean, one can see their job is done in an excellent manner, yet you never see them, but they seem to appear only when you need them. BLISS! The whole place is meticulously maintained and clean. It helps that it seems to be a relatively new building. The location is great for "Tulum Pueblo". Good restaurant attached, same staff, very nice all of them. Good WiFi nice back patio / garden. Awesome co-working space.

We seriously lucked out with our stay here.

We seriously lucked out with our stay here. From the moment we pulled up to the quiet location and sea breeze we were over the moon with the place and it only for better from there. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. Julian was a super host and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Antal has friendly, helpful staff full time that even brought us fresh coconuts our first day. There are kayaks and paddle boards available for use and loads of fun games in the communal area. We spent a few blissful days just at the salt water pool enjoying the views. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back! The one detail I would add is you really need a car to make the most of the area.

The southern beaches of Tulum are really nice.

The southern beaches of Tulum are really nice. However, if you are not staying in a hotel on the beach, and they tend to be expensive, the problem is beach access via a hotel or beach club. We found a very nice beach club that was free and had good food at reasonable prices. Mnay people would want to visit the Tulum Maya ruins and various cenotes, but we did not, because we did that elsewhere in the Yucatan and had little time in Tulum.

Small typical town for the area without many tourists. A couple of good local options for simple restaurants (we ate at Los Primos) which offered good food at reasonable prices. Felt perfectly safe to walk/drive around after dark here as well.

Second time in Tulum, I like the area, beautiful scenery and I love the hotel boutiques with interesting ecological concepts. Very chic, very hip. Nice restaurants. Stay in the tulum beach road, so you can be close to everything.

The apartment was tranquil and quiet!

The apartment was tranquil and quiet! A perfect place to rest! The host (management company) was very proactive, responsive and efficient! Great AC and a lovely pool! The king size bed was so comfortable! Definitely stay here! And definitely book a meal at Probadita (you can walk there from the apartment)! There are quiet roads to run on if you enjoy jogging like I do! We were unable to cook because there was an induction burner without induction cookware. However, the host said they will look into this with immediacy! There was no closet or drawers to place our clothing and the electrical outlets were in strange locations (a bit difficult to access).

This location is a bit weird since its not on the beach but they push the beach (30 minutes away) which is more than likely the best thing about staying or visiting a Secrets. The property is very maze like and makes the pool experience very odd, wasn't a fan of the pool situation or property layout for that reason. Food was very average to below average. The restaurant food was far from fine dining and the buffets had a hard time keeping food in stock, like fruit, bacon, eggs, etc. We were assigned a butler on day one but our butler never met us or attempted to help or was there to support us not once the entire trip, honestly not sure the butler existed. Entertainment was pretty weak as well. Won't be going back to this location again, and not sure we'll be visiting a Secrets again either for quite a while after this trip and experience.

Lovely town away from the tourist trap.

Lovely town away from the tourist trap. It felt safer than Tulum town. The locals are very friendly. One grocery shop and 3 restaurants. We recommend Los Primos. Great service, prices and the best food we had.
