Feathers Inn is amazing!!! You are met with Cecelia’s great smile and warmth. Her staff are so attentive to all your needs. While the building may be older, it is extremely clean, bed is comfortable and pillows are amazing. My room had a kitchen in it and the shower is nice and hot!!! Breakfast was incredible and you can order supper as well

The location is absolutely ideal! The staff was very kind and responsive. We had a few minor complaints, but they were addressed by the manager shortly and they were very kind and understanding.

Excellent option to stay in Walvis Bay. The wonderful staff makes you feel very welcome and assists you with everything you need (taxi services, location of commercial premises). Close to the waterfront and a 20-minute walk from the port's restaurants.

Our two beds apartment on the second floor overlooking the ocean. It has almost everything you may need in the house for a day to day living.. it has a little braai area and some outdoor chairs and little tables that can be used at the balcony. Quiet neighborhood

Walvis Bay is not really set up for tourists and the weather...
Walvis Bay is not really set up for tourists and the weather is not at all comfortable during September/October - we were told that the afternoon strong winds and cold weather (14 C max were normal). A good base though for kayaking with seals and other outdoor experiences. Well stocked supermarket and a few restaurants with much the same offerings.

I loved the Lagoon where I saw flamingos ☺️. There is a Dolphin coffee place it was amazing. I didn’t really the beach side in Walvis Bay, but I got a chance to go to Swakopmund’s one. The boat cruise was definitely amazing
