The checkin was easy and the apartment was clean. The property has parking and it has two rooms and a (tiny) bathroom. The area felt super safe and only a short drive from the centre of Ponce.

The location was my favorite part! So central to everything! Next time we would check in earlier to take advantage of the lobby area in the hotel. The room was really comfortable. Our room didn't have any windows and it was so dark we slept in. It was so relaxing!

Needs to become more walkable, the square in downtown we liked, we ate at the Plaza Caribe Mall, getting around Ponce is very easy, it have a very good taxi transportation, the Art Mussean, la Guancha, Caja de Muerto

The room was tiny with no noise insulation.
The room was tiny with no noise insulation. It is located in front of a noisy tennis court where you will hear people playing tennis, and a bar with loud music playing until late at night. I could not stay there because of the noise and was told by the owner that he would refund me the money, but he never did.

Penuelas is a very picturesque little town where I enjoyed...
Penuelas is a very picturesque little town where I enjoyed walking and taking pictures. What bothered me is that these cars with souped up speakers are driving up and down the road. Blasting their music day and night and that actually kept me from sleeping well. The plaza with the church is very cute and very clean and I stayed at the hotel right there which was super convenient. And of course Ponce is not far and has beautiful beaches and there are many possibilities for hikes and day trips into the mountains.

We twice ate at a lovely restaurant, Bahia's, along the water in Ponce. The food was delicious, and the outdoor atmosphere was beautiful. Not fancy, just lovely staff, food and view. We also took a day trip to Fuerte Capron in Guanica and hiked for a bit and then found a small local beach, Playa Jaboncillo, where we watched pelicans dive for fish. .

I love the view of the town from the top of the mountain.
I love the view of the town from the top of the mountain. I strongly suggest the town to always have options to pay with digital credit cards because sometimes travelers may not have access to an ATM machine for cash. The town, especially the highway area urgently needs traffic lights to avoid accidents in these intersections. The town is developing; but, always needs more stores to shop for souvenirs, food to eat cultural cuisine along with live music.

Great for hiking, if you play tennis there is a public park nearby(about 10m. In car or biking) with great tennis court. Public beaches nearby. (Not walking distance). Overall a nice and peaceful place to stay.

There isn’t much to do in Ponce. The beach was disappointing, and the town center is quite small with only a limited number of restaurants and coffee shops. Overall, it felt underwhelming as a destination.
