He would let us know about auroras and also gave us a lot of information about the area and helped us with orientation in the town and with finding transfer to railway station. The whole accommodation is freshly renovated and especially the kitchen is quite modern.

Great location in being between old town and new town (as of 2025). While it is a bit further from old town walking distance wise it is also conveniently placed near the bus stop and very close to the new center of town. Stig is a wonderful soul, who is always on hand to help and suggest where to go and what to do. During our stay he showed such immense hospitality, taking us to a great lunch buffet place, cooking us fish he caught, and letting us use his sauna among many other things. He’s on hand to help, we had an issue with our keys one night which was fixed really quickly. I guess another important feature is that you have easy access to view the northern lights from just outside of the guesthouse!

Egen modern mysig lägenhet is located in Kiruna, just 3.1 miles from Kiruna Train Station and 1.9 miles from Kiruna Bus Station. The little cozy apartment build as addition between the main house and the garage is really good value. Nothing fancy but made and decorated with care. It is simple but has a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, water kettle. 2 beds and a restroom with sink and toilette. We did not use the shower which is in the basement of the landlords house. Landlord and son were very friendly and helpful.
