A quiet and dreamy city. Not touristy. Calm. And beautiful.
A quiet and dreamy city. Not touristy. Calm. And beautiful. The people are gentle, friendly and very welcoming to foreigners. For those who don't like the hastle and noise of Pattaya or Hua Hin, It's perfect. Also, It's a stones throw from gorgeous islands.

Such a friendly family run hotel,rooms cleaned daily.breakfast included with a variety of choice,omelette my favourite. On leaving I left a bag behind and they kindly sent it up in a taxi to our next hotel in Patong.
We will definitely be back 🩷

I really like Bangsaray, its a real antidote break from the...
I really like Bangsaray, its a real antidote break from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, and although I like Bangkok, its also good to have a breather , the town has pretty much everything you can wish for, the markets are vibrant and interesting.
The beach is narrow at tide, But a morning visit and walk on the beach is lovely.

Getting past Pattaya/Jomtien offers a huge (and positive)...
Getting past Pattaya/Jomtien offers a huge (and positive) contrast for the surrounds and the vibes. From 'sin city' with its harsh west-facing beaches void of shade from the often brutal afternoon sun, places like Bang Saray and beyond turn the harshness way down and turn up the chill factor. Would happily explore Rayong and beyond on future trips, down to some of the islands (often lesser known by travellers who stick with the major Thai tourist areas).

One beautiful city to visit with lots of clean beaches, lots places that can be a one day trip. Lots of little islands that's not to far and very clean not to packed. Lodz of amazing temples to visit. Bunch of fabulous restaurants with amazing food drinks and amazing views, plus not too expensive too😁

Going to be staying here for a lot longer periods of time! Suits me as an older person-if you want the bright lights -they are a short drive away ( 20mins) -Local bars close at 12 at night. The area is busy during the day but not near the condo! Food at the Globe was really tasty and the fare on the beach at the Seaside restaurant yummy and well priced!
