I had an amazing hotel stay for two weeks. Very service-oriented and friendly staff, fresh and peaceful environment. Wonderful room with a sea view and super tasty food at the restaurant. It was great to swim in both the pool and the sea. The hotel gym was excellent. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest 7/11, but it's good to get some exercise. It’s also very convenient and cheap to travel around with a Bolt taxi. I will definitely return to Rayong and Fortune. Rayong is not too "touristy" yet and is very charming and peaceful.

I loved my stay here very much. Great value for money and a great location. Bed and pillows were so so comfortable. Blue in reception was so nice and helpful and she organised a taxi for me to Rayong beach. Great choice of coffees in the mornings. Wi-Fi very good and great places to eat nearby. I also went to see The Skywalk and the mangrove forest.

Rayong is a hidden gem.

Rayong is a hidden gem. The night market is fantastic, it is located nearby the star 3 hotel There is a part of the city, which is in a conservation area, it is beautiful. Sadly, I can't remember the name of the road, but it is well worth a walk down it. Also not far from the conservation area, is a sports circuit, which has a full sized football pitch and 5 aside pitches, basketball courts and many other sporting facilities. A large running circuit encircles the football pitch, and it comes alive early in the evening, before sunset, as many locals jog, run and walk around the circuit. It's wonderful to see. There's also a wooden walkway alongside the main river, where you can walk under the shade of the mangroves and enjoy the calm of the river, it is very relaxing. I'd recommend a stay here.

Its a nice place for some people but I couldn't find...

Its a nice place for some people but I couldn't find anything to see. Ko Samet was ok. It was expensive and on top you had to pay the conservation fee to go to the island. I would go somewhere else next time.

Rayong is a not too big city on the Gulf of Thailand with great beaches. what I miss is good restaurants and coffee houses. it is all very Thai, not clean, a lot is broken and will never be repaired. streets are good, Thai driving crazy and dangerous. Thailand is the number one in road accidents and casualties in the world. Thai just do not care. that has also its positive, Thai are not easy to shock. see the acceptance of gay and so on.

Great for a stopping point to Koh Chang and Koh Mak.

Great for a stopping point to Koh Chang and Koh Mak. Interesting because a more real Thai experience. You can if you want go from Rayong Tour and one stop on the sky train go to Sawanabuhmi airport for 195baht. Go to the beaches Great food Great prices Lively market’s intriguing and genuine

We left Koh Chang, crowded beaches and crazy roads to relax...

We left Koh Chang, crowded beaches and crazy roads to relax in Rayong, most beaches had a few people only, so relaxing. Lots of beach side food and coffee shops in most places and some splendid temples around....of course!

The Mangrove Trail, Yomjinda Rd. and a Café called "104 CAFE & MORE" was nice. Otherwise nothing to see. I didn't see ANY other foreign tourists. No good breakfast and vegetarian food options in town. Hard to get around on foot. One day there is more than enough.

This was an amazing relaxing place to stay. Only 7 minutes away from 1 of the best beaches on the east coast of Thailand. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is outstanding and refreshing. The hosts Thomas and Kanya were both wonderful especially Tom’s performance on the piano playing happy birthday for my wife 👏👏 Definitely recommend this outstanding property if you’re looking to relax away from the crowds we will return in the future 💯

This is old school Thailand! It has taken me back 30 years, when Thailand was much simpler and easy, when it was safe to leave your door open and your towel and shoe outside. Alex is a wonderful friendly host and helps where ever he can. Fresh coffee is offered when you pass the well stocked bar in the mornings and you can always stop for a chat. Location is 3-5 min from the beach.

The hotel is located next to two big markets - the Bazaar and a fresh food market. The beach is about a 10 minute drive. The beds are a little firmer than I prefer but the room was really nice, spacious and the hotel provides daily clean if you need. There’s some good vending machines in the lobby plus elevator.

The property was beautifully presented and the setting was perfect. The food was also some of the best we have had while in Thailand. The laid back nature of the property offered the whole family some down time in the middle of a hectic tour of Thailand!
