Every thing about this hotel was wonderful for us. The staff were delightful, kind, friendly and always helpful. The accommodation was excellent for my daughter and I. We could not have been happier. Any query we had, or the adaptability of our meals were all catered for with such grace.

Kitu Kiblu is a little gem in Kilindoni, only 5 minutes from the airstrip. The lodge is completely immersed in nature, with direct access to the ocean and a breathtaking view. The atmosphere is more of a family than an accommodation facility: you feel right away at ease with everyone, and you can immediately switch your brain off and take away any sort of stress that you carry on your shoulders. If you want, you can also organise an encounter with the whale sharks in a responsible and organized manner. I left a piece of heart in Kitu Kiblu and I'll definitely come back.

I had a wonderful stay at Mgeni Homestay, with both Ally, the owner, and Bunda, the home caretaker, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the house is centrally located in Kilindoni and close to the beach. I would recommend Mgeni to those who are traveling, either alone or in groups, and are looking for a budget and authentic homestay option.

Kileleni has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Kilindoni. Free WiFi and room service are offered. At the resort, rooms contain a closetand a balcony with a garden view.

Amazing food, friendly staff, great pool and a good shower. Drinking water available the entire day. Big rooms with a nice lounging area in front of each bungalow. Pick-up and drop-off are included.

Great place. Very kind staff. We stayed there for 3 nights, and were super happy from it. Breakfast was good, and the room was clean. Great location, and easy walkable from the airport.

Beautiful bungalows with a huge garden directly in front of the beach. All the bungalows have a big glass front where you can see the garden and at some locations the beach. Incredibly nice staff - try to help and accommodate wherever they can. Could change the room without problems as I needed AC to be able to sleep (March can be incredibly hot and humid). Even came back to the hotel after diving on the other side of the island. Everything seems a bit rustic as first but you will definitely fall in love with it. There is a really really nice gift shop with handicrafts on site - really nice woman from the village, definitely one to support. The locations to the beach is super close and to the left there are two more hotels you can go for dinner or a drink. People all know each other on Mafia and help you with everything! :) Breakfast is great!

The staff was amazing, very hospitable and took care of everything. Breakfast and dinner was great, they have a really great chef and attentive personnel. They also rented us bikes for free, such that we could drive to the dive shop (~10 minutes by bike). Great and inexpensive stay!

It was like staying in a cozy, private village. Meremeta, Suma and all of the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were dedicated to making our stay in Mafia the best possible and always available for anything we needed.
